We did black friday, but we didn't leave the house until after 4:30. Hunter always looks forward to going and we weren't really in the market for any of the early bird deals that would sell out quickly. I think we ended up with everything we had hoped to get and we were home by 9 AM. The boys put together the new computer chair and I got everything that we bought today wrapped. I still have stuff to wrap that I've bought before, but hopefully tomorrow I'll have it all done. I'm on a mission to get everything done early this year to avoid stress.

This Dallas trip has been great,,minus the loss! Today was the icing on the cake though. They have an ICE exhibit at the hotel we stay at so we had tickets but still had to wait for awhile...no big deal, we just chatted with people in line like it was disney. We went thruogh and it was great! As we were walking out, you go up 3 steps then a ramp. I was going up the three steps, they were escorting someone down that bumped into me. As I tried to say sorry, I looked up and looked right into the face of one of my favorite cowboys players-jason witten! So I said "Hi Jason, how are you?" He looked, smiled and was like "Im great, thanks, how are you?" He was there with his wife and kids and was as nice as could be..no one else recognized him but me! We all had on the same blue parkas...it was awesome!

Good morning,

Yesterday we saw Tangled. It was cute & we all liked it. Then we went to Target in the afternoon & they still had some doorbuster sales going so we got a new DVD player for $20 for the family. I bought Elf the movie for $3.99. Also picked up some lights for outside. We came in, ate leftovers, & then watched football (well the men watched it, I did some Christmas shopping online - almost done!) & then we all watched Enchanted.

No big plans here today. I do need to get the kids clothes moved around and mine too . Chris is working this morning and he didn't get home until after 9:30 last night. I must say I miss having him around. We'll get to spend tomorrow together though

Good afternoon. I hope everyone is having a great day. Chris got home around 2 and is now napping on the couch I hped Colby clean his room then helped both Nick and Hunter change out their summer and winter clothes. I've been putting that off for months. Tomorrow I hope that Chris and I can get the same done for ourselves. I've also wrapped the gifts for my neice and nephew. I started wrapping the clothing I bought a few weeks ago for the boys. I figure if I wrap a few gifts here and there I get it done.

Where is everyone today? I'm getting kind of lonely here. Plus there is nothing new to read so I have to keep doing things around the house
I ran a few errand tonight and hit BJ's. I had a bunch of coupons that were going to expire and it was all stuff that we regularly use. Came home and decided it is plenty cold enough to keep frozen stuff cold outside so we emptied our big freezer and are letting it defrost tonight. We'll clean it in the morning and restock it. The frost has really built up so it really needs to be done.

I managed to fall asleep and when I woke up they had stopped for now.

I'm just more of a visual person. I need some short sleeved button up tops. I know this isn't the season for short sleeved but the nerve damage in the arm they took out the lymph nodes is going to bother me for a while and short sleeved puts less pressure. Any ideas anyone?

J C Penny's has a good sale going on today(online & in store), I saw quite a few short sleeved tops.
