[Disney Yooper]

Chuck's niece got married yesterday afternoon. It was a nice wedding but a little different. She didn't have her dad walk her down the aisle. Her wedding was in Eagle River, Wisconsin which is Chuck's home town. They had "light refreshments" afterwards which were cupcakes & little cheesecakes. The reception is tonight in Milwaukee but we are not attending. She was a beautiful bride and the groom cried when he saw her coming toward him. I hope that it is a happy marriage.

Jeff is off to a store that sells refurbished computers. They have a dell laptop on sale for 275 and its tax free this weekend. The laptop is for Olivia to do school work on.

My boss when I'm waitressing is such a tool. He made a comment to me tonight as he was looking at who was working "I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but I really have no talent working tonight". Of course I shared that comment with the other 5 waitstaff and we are all irate. The man actually tells people "I'm a smart man" He wonders why he has difficulty getting people to want to work. We all just want to kill him

I need to work on washing the rest of the front of the house tomorrow, but it's supposed to rain. I guess I can do it in the rain as long as it doesnt' lightning, maybe I'll use less water that way

Nick just told me that he is invited to a friend's birthday party tomorrow at 3 PM. Nice of them to give us some notice.

Toady is going to be a busy day! My brother, uncle, and I have tickets toe the phillies game. I lucked out and found first row seats behind the visitor dugout for face value! When we get home, my brother and i have to go to a draft party for fantasy football--neither of us have EVER even thought about playing, but close friends of ours are doing a leaugue so we figured why not--its funny since only one person has done it and the rest of us are clueless!

Tomorrow morning--im headed back to my classroom!

How went the house hunt yesterday?

I bought a ride photo from Space Mountain from Emma's first ride. It was such a great photo. Joe was in front, Emma in the middle and Lizzy in the back. Lizzy was holding Emma's hands-such a great big sister! I thought about buying it on a photopass card but decided to buy it on a 1GB monorail USB thumb drive. The monorail lights up when you plug it in. When I got home I discoverd that not only did I get the ride photo but also about 5 professional Space Mountain photos. I'll have to post them.

Can you post a picture of the monorail thumb drive it sounds cute?

I am going to my cousin's birthday party today. We were going to go to Hersheypark after wards but it is supposed to be another rainy Sunday so we probably won't. It seems like it has rained just about every Sunday this summer.

Back to work on Monday. Then surgery on Tuesday. I should be home Tuesday late afternoon.

Olivia and Virginia were looking at one of the maps I requested from WDW. Olivia was telling Virginia how we get to the park and then check in at the gates. Then talking about the rides they were going to ride.

I uploaded the photos but not a photo of the drive. Joe is out with DH taking photos with my cameras so when he gets home I'll take a photo of it.

I've taken a lot of winter trips with lows in the 30's but every one of those trips included at least one day warm enough to swim. This winter they had unheard of cold spells that lasted for a while but those were in Jan & Feb. I bet you would have a few days warm enough (for a kid) to swim in Dec. The pools are heated.

Purchase the photo on-site as a digital download from the DisneyPhotoPass.com website - $14.95 for the first photo download, $9.95 each additional (on site only)
Purchase the photo on a 1GB Disney-themed USB drive for $24.95 which includes the photo plus seven professional stock photos of the Space Mountain attraction. Additional Space Mountain ride photos can be added to the drive for $9.95 each (a $5 savings over the PhotoDownload).
All of the above options include receiving the photo on a specially-themed Space Mountain PhotoPass card which can be used just like any other Disney's PhotoPass card.

Hello all!

Pretty easy peasy day around here today. I went and sat at McDonald's with my book and a planning notebook this morning for about an hour and enjoyed the quiet, came home and preceeded to finish my book, made enchiladas for lunch for everyone here plus Kristi's crew, and am now just trying to make sure I'm set for the week. Of course, in doing that, I realized that I've got something going on every night this week so now I really need to make sure I'm on top of things for the week. Guess the need to make sure dinners are planned just doubled. I'm thinking maybe that means breaking out the crockpot to see some serious action this week. Of course, with Dad being home all week that's a little tougher than normal as he's a little pickier than the rest of us. Oh well, guess I'd better sit down with Mom in a little bit and figure this all out.

How went the house hunt yesterday?

House hunting went okay--I was able to see some things I definitely want and some things I dont really care about having in the house.. i was bummed because I found one that I loved the layout and the price---and then we found water in the basement so i was a bit bummed!

today was a great day--We had tickets to the phillies game and ended up being on tv twice! the first time, my brother caught a foul ball and then gave it to a little kid next to us-it was the kids first phillies game! Then, a lady in our section got hit hard by a ball and my brother ran over to her to help her--the pitch before she got hurt, someone else got hit with a ball and the EMTs were checking him out..so my brother (EMT) stayed with her til the ball park EMTs got there...

After that, I got home and my brother and I went to a fantasy football draft party. Ive never done a league but a friend was putting one together and needed more people-9 of the 12 of us have never played fantasy football so it should be interesting! So we had a draft party and mosto f us had no idea what we were doing so it was a lot of fun..


Tomorrow I am back to my classroom! i have to set up (well, start setting up)..I will probably be in there everyday this week trying to get ready--I ll have to take pictures when I am done!
