And 6 weeks from today I will be getting ready to land at MCO for my F&W trip!!

And 6 weeks from now will be our first full day of our trip. Chuck & I are going to do the Family Fun Run on Saturday morning and the MNSSHP on Sunday night. We'll have lots and lots of F&W time.

The boys and I met Chris at our bank for their annual BBQ at lunch. Then I took the kids to my parents to swim. The water was cold, but I did get to lay in the sun for about 45 minutes. Got to work on my tan before it gets cold around here. I'm off to work now. Hopefully I'll get out of work a bit earlier tonight as it's been 10PM every night this week.

That's good new Tia. Hopefully you can keep him quiet this weekend so that he can heal appropriately:wizard:

So far so good and he seems to be feeling a little better this afternoon. No pain meds since early morning. Hopefully as he starts feeling better and better he'll keep remembering to take it easy.

Sorry about work issues. I'm back to work this week and I really can't complain at all except to say I'm exhausted!
...
I went to see my doctor's associate this morning as my doctor is on vacation. My foot has been more painful as expected since I'm back to work. I was surprised to see that it wasn't very swollen as it feels very swollen. She took a culture because she said it looks a bit oozy. She put a smaller bandage on so I can see if the red spot spreads. I plan to stay off of it as much as possible this weekend! She also took an xray and said that looks great.

Glad your foot is looking good even if the pain has increased with working. Definitely take it easy this weekend!!

Bring on that cold! (At least for me. It can just be a personal cold front settled over my house.)

Good morning, DDA!

Dad did end up coming home last night around 5. He is still in a decent amount of pain, but overall is doing well. They doctor called mom yesterday moring and said that everything went as well as they had hoped. He didn't see any reason to be concerned. The accomplished everything they hoped in the surgery and Dad did well during it. They will hopefully have the pathology reports by his follow up appt Mon or Tues so that we know for certain whether he needs radiation as well.

Thanks again for all of the prayers!

Tia glad your dad is home. I hope he continues to improve and he does not need radiation.

Morning!
I am off to look at a couple of houses today--in great neighborhoods and in my price range--cross your fingers!

Good morning, DDA!

We had a glorious thunderstorm last night. Seemed like such a break from the continuous heat and sun (even if the heat has improved a little some days). Today is starting out cool at least. Maybe it will choose to last a little bit!

How exciting! I had no idea you were considering buying a house. Good luck!

I didn't know that you were house hunting. Good luck:wizard:

Owning a house is a ton of work. I decided to cut back the rose bushes today which lead to finding algae on the house which lead to scrubbing one area which lead to the area next to it looking dirty....you get the idea. I'm off to work so it will have to wait until tomorrow to may have time to finish.
Chris is working on his street rod non stop in hopes of finishing it. The boys are mad at me as I've told them to get off their butts and clean the house. But I didn't...I don't care, clean it anyway. Video games are gone until this house shines. I can tell it's going to be ugly around here tonight. too bad I'll be at work;)

Well back from house hunting! I found a few that I made appointments to go through--I really liked one of them but it had a bunch of water in the basement--the realtor said he never noticed that--there is an open house tomorrow that I am going to go back with my brother and have him check things out

Its kinda in the beginning of the house hunting process and not many people know, but I tell you guys everything :)

The things we do for our kids and grand kids, I've spent the better part of the day making Simpsons figures for Brandon's birthday cake, he wants a Simpson's party and there's nothing to be found. So I printed out some pictures, glued them to foamboard, cut them out with an exacto knife and made picks our of them with toothpicks.

I've got the CD's made for Deb and Bernadette, now all I have to do is get them in the mail.

Here's a few pictures, I had to share these but they are actually Bernadette's, they magically appeared on her photopass,

You also had one of a little boy with Buzz that I didn't recognize

Here's a couple of us,

Loved the pictures, Debbie!

Bernadette - Those MSEP shots are TERRIFIC!

Jen-how exciting to be house hunting!

Deb-everyone at work said the kids must have been so happy to have me home. I said I doubt it. I kept telling them to work on their summer homework projects. Which still aren't complete....

Debbie-I would love to see photos of your Simpson cake!!!

Love the 25 year borders!!! Did you do those?

I did NOT take those photos. I don't know how they got on the photopass card. Our first photopass card we got when we got our photo taken (or maybe just Joe's?) at the partner's statue on our first day when we had an early breakfast at CP. Not sure how those photos got there. When we went to see Buzz the photopass guy wasn't there while we were waiting then he came out just as it was our turn. He had had some issues with his camera. So i don't know who that little boy is.

I bought a ride photo from Space Mountain from Emma's first ride. It was such a great photo. Joe was in front, Emma in the middle and Lizzy in the back. Lizzy was holding Emma's hands-such a great big sister! I thought about buying it on a photopass card but decided to buy it on a 1GB monorail USB thumb drive. The monorail lights up when you plug it in. When I got home I discoverd that not only did I get the ride photo but also about 5 professional Space Mountain photos. I'll have to post them.
