I am home. Thank you all for the good wishes. For now I am gonna try to take a nap, as I did not sleep well.

Have a great day!

I'm glad you are home, Becky. Take it easy.

Glad you are home becky!

Well, my classroom is definitely coming along-I got a ton done in the last few days..Hopefully I can finish it up tomorrow and Friday so I dont have to go in for more unpaid days next week!

first half of this day was busy. but the last 2hrs have been dragging by. Still have 3 more hrs to go.

Becky I'm glad you're home. I hope things continue to go well.

Nick started a new med for his acne. He can't have dairy 2 hours before to 2 hours after the meds. That is making it tough for him to find something for breakfast and he has never been a breakfast eater anyway. He took the med with no food this morning and was sick to his stomache for 2 hours. We ended up going to the grocery store in search of something to feed him. I think we found a few things so maybe tomorrow will be a smoother day.

I need to straighten up the camper tomorrow as I made a mess taking things out for vacation. Then I can pack it. Nick has orientation on Friday then we'll go camping for the weekend. It's supposed to be a gorgous weekend. I think we'll probably tackle the corn maze on Saturday. The kids may even get a chance to swim as it may hit 80 degrees and the campground pools are heated.

I found out tonight that one of the jobs I had applied for has been filled. It would have been nice to at least get a no thank you letter, but I guess that isn't common practice anymore, it is normal to just leave people hanging.

I agree with the not receiving the thanks but no thanks letter. Just plain rude if you ask me.

And with that,,,,

Becky - Glad you are home recuperating.

I agree that it is just plain rude to let people hang when they have applied for a job.

I got the seminars and culinary demonstrations I wanted today. :)

Meetings have gone surprisingly well today. No fighting about money for a change! And a bunch of us sat in the lounge tonight and had a drink as we talked about things not remotely connected to music. It was quite refreshing!

Because of my meetings I missed AGT, but I managed to see the very last shot as they were signing off and saw that my two favorites made it through. :yay:

So on Sat. around 9am my mom calls me. She says "Dad wants to know if he should go to the ER". I asked why? She said he had a temp of 100.3, no appetite, shortness of breath( it had started to get better), general feeling puney and coughing up green stuff. I asked her if she had called the nurse yet she said no. So I said call her and see what she says but I think he needs to be seen. The nurse comes out and sees him. Listens to his lungs which have a few crackles in them( they had been sounding clear). She calls the Dr and has them call in some antibotics as she thinks its the start of Pneumonia.

he felt puney on sun. felt better mon. and then tues afternoon he started feeling bad again. I called to check on him on the way home. Mom said he was complaining of blurry vision which she had called the Dr and they had not returned her call yet. She called them around 12 CST. He was very dizzy this morning when he first got up. she said when he sits up he is Dizzy and sometimes has to lay back down. He had been walking around the house and yard, Mom said today he was back to using the wheelchair. Any movement and he has been panting today, Even eating his supper he was panting. He had got his oxygen down to 2 liters. he is back up to 5 liters. He was moaning in pain when I got their, tonight. Mom said he was complaining of his spleen hurting tonight. He sees the Lung Dr. on Friday. I will not be surprised if they admit him to the hospital.

Jennifer - I hope your father feels better today or can get some answers from the doctor.

Good morning.

We had a long but very happy first day of school. All 3 kids are happy with their schools & teachers. :yay: :yay: :yay:

We had choir practice right after school (kids) last night combined with the parent meeting & vestment fitting lasted til 730pm. Today we have nothing after school. :cool1:

I have a ton of errands to run as well as searching for a PT job. Yes, the do leave you hanging if they fill the job..I guess that is what is done now?:sad2:
Right now retail looks like the best option so I can be home for the kids & get them around to their activities in the afternoon but I have also put my name in a temp agency which would be primarily office work.

Ok off to :laundy:

Have a great day!

Whew. After 2 hours and 20 minutes I finally have my Candlelight Processional dinner package booked. I called right at 7 and was on hold for about 20 minutes. Right in the middle of making my adr the recording for the survey came on. I lost the CM. So I spent the next hour redialing. 307 times. I'm NOT joking. My cell counts the redials. FINALLY I get connected and after another 40 minutes on hold my ADR is made, for the date/time/restaurant I wanted. Unbelievable.

Jennifer - I hope your dad is doing better today.

What reader do you have? We had Whoopi Goldberg last year & she was very good.

Trace Adkins. Other than Whoopi, there is no one really exceptional this year. I like Trace's deep voice so I'm thinking he should be good. And it helps that my kids know his music. ;)
