That's great news, Jen!!!!

Theresa - congrats to both your girls!!!

Anne Marie - Daniel's play sounds like it was really fun!

Proud mommy brag ahead!!

Cassidy is now immortalized on a plaque in the theater wing for being a "behind the scenes" band kid that they couldn't do without (named after some band leader's manager)

and

Abi was named band student of the year this morning.

Sorry I haven't been around much....busy time of year....last concert was last night and end of year "stuff"

Congratulations to them both and you go right ahead and brag!!

I'm sure there will be pictures, right?! I am sorry for the hotel troubles. Good luck on having your feet fixed! I think I'm having trouble with plantar fasciitis, so I'm a little worried about spending all those days on my feet. Not quite worried enough to see a doctor, though.

I was having trouble with the same thing. I had had the cortisone shots and then I found out that Crocs have a style just for that problem. I love them. They are not a cure all, but they feel great. I have found that crocs just feel better all over. Yes I still have pain sometimes, but not so that I feel that I have to get any more cortisone shots right now. I don't want to even think about surgery cause that does not always end the problem. It can come back.

I know what you mean-I have heard of that behavior in schools and i still am shocked everytime i hear about it. i am so lucky to have my school and district. I am complemented frequently on my class when people come in my classroom and they are all listening or working quietly in centers.... and on that note....

NO PINK TODAY! apparently we can officially be notified by may 15, but i am doubting i would get a call or something tomorrow so im thinking things are good! thanks for the good thoughts!

:cool1:

Do you have a "take a break" chair in your classroom. The classroom I was in didn't :confused3 Every other classroom in the school has one, but not that one. Hmmm do you think there's a correlation?

:cool1::cool1: To all

Welcome back Stephanie. Are you going to fill us in on your hospital adventures?

I'm finally home. What an incredibly long day. Hunter scored a goal in his game. I got to see it :cool1: His team did lose though :sad1: I rushed straight from the game to work and bartended for 3 1/2 hours. My feet are killing me from standing so long today. Tomorrow is another killer day.

I dont have a "take a break" chair--but my kids pretty much live by my stoplight..they start on green every day--if they need a lot of reminders, they move to yellow and lose their sticker for the day. If they continue the behavior and go to red, they get a phone call or note home...i would say there are only a handful of kids that ha ve been on red--they are so well behaved-i love my class :)

Yes there will be pictures! My friend Mary K had trouble with plantar fasciitis after doing the segway tour. She tried some thing she got on the internet that is supposed to help stretch it out-not the elastic thing you wear at night-I think it was like a ball on a platform and you did exercises on it. Do you want me to ask her about it?

If it's something that helped, I would like to know what it is. If I remember to keep my hamstrings and calf stretched, my foot pain does seem better. I think that I do need to stretch the foot, too. I guess it's a good thing that I'm not doing the Segway tour with them then.

Thanks for the recommendation! I have been looking at Crocs, but I'm afraid to spend $50+ on shoes that I could end up hating. It's good to hear from someone who has experience. Mine isn't to the point of shots, but there are mornings that I really have difficulty.

I hope that your next class is exactly the same!
