DDA Chapter 25

I finally ventured out to meet Stephanie for Brunch. Then we went to the local mall and looked at the I Pad and I looked at phones. Hal's phone is on the fritz and we can get new ones in two weeks. I wanted to try a few out before we came together to check them out.

the I Pad is heavier than I thought. It is really nice but way to big for me. To load pictures, you need to buy an app. It seems that you have to get a few apps to do the things I would want to do. I will just stay with my laptop. But that is my opinion. Now,,,,,if someone was to give one to me, I would take it in a minute

I went to the grocery store and after that had to get home. A little bit harder that I thought. I was on sensory overload after just that.

Just a reminder to everyone to be careful what you post here on the DIS in terms of personal info. A friend of mine had some really ugly things happen to her over the weekend, and the person who was doing the ugly things used info & photos from the DIS to craft some nasty rumors. The person wasn't just out to smear my friend, but also my friend's son. (He is an adult, but it was still an evil thing to do.) Mean, hateful and WRONG on every level. There is no telling who lurks on these boards, and obviously some of them have a LOT of time on their hands.

I recently got a shock when DS discovered that Googling your own name will bring up things that you post on public pages on FaceBook. You can delete the posts, but they are archived so they will still come up AFTER you delete them.

That's what got me started! All of the sudden this morning I just had to click on your link and start reading. I think I go back and forth between loving others reports and being saddened by them. Now is a good time - I want to read reports and plan my trip - despite the whole 18+ months away thing.

we got back from camping around 5pm yesterday, the girls had fun. despite the cold water and it being very windy Fri. evening and night. Olivia caught about 6 fish when her dad and uncle took her and her cousin fishing. Virginia loved the boat ride we gave her. But now both girls have a wicked cough. I assume from being in all that wind with all that tree pollen.

Glad you had a good time! Hope the cough clears quickly! Terra's started with one too. Phil's worried about having passed on his cold, but I think it's just allergies.

As you all know dad was having a biopsy last week and his lung collapsed. that was wed. they put a tube in his chest. to drain the fluid. on friday evening they pulled the tube. his oxygen sats with the tube in were 89% to 96%. once they took the tube out his sats were 84% to 90% with 15 liters of oxygen via face mask. They moved him to a regular room thurs morning and back to IMC early friday morning. supposably to better watch his breathing. Sat. afternoon they gave him a unit of blood his hemaglobin was 7.1 it came up to 7.9 after the unit of blood. Mom got a phone call this morn before 7am that they had moved him she said to CCU? not sure soupposeably to better watch his breathing. I have not been able to get up their to see him as they have very strict visitng hrs and no one under 12 is allowed in. I am hoping I can get up their tonight after Olivia's daisy meeting.

I'm in a funk today. I think that it is the weather, overcast with scattered showers. I'm working tonight which means I'll miss the boys games tonight and I've never missed any of their games I just have to keep telling myself we need the money to do the trip.
