Hi, Penny! How nice to see you!

Tammy - when you are done mowing your lawn, wanna drive over here and do mine too? :rotfl:

Actually, I think I will let it go another couple of days since our yard is still a swamp from all the rain we have gotten!

Good morning. :)

Guess what I get to do today?!

I don't know which is worse, that or

. Of course, when I'm doing it I don't have that biga$$ grin on my face.

no fear of that here yet. The grass is still pretty brown, but the puddles are huge. This is day 2 of rain and much of our area is under a flood warning. We sit well above any flood zone, so no worries there, but it is pretty gloomy. I woke up with a doozy of a backache this morning. I'm sure it is stress related even though I'm coming out of the stress zone now. It seems that I stiffen up when things start to calm down. Oh well, this too shall pass.

Jen  for a quick trip, and getting an annual pass is a good idea since you are going back in June.

Tammi - I just noticed that Southwest has seemed to drop its nonstop flights from Dulles to Orlando starting sometime in September!

Elin or anyone who has been to the food and wine fest, what do I need to know?
This will be the 1st time we will be there and know nothing about it, if you have a link or two please post.

Thank you, Heidi

I saw that too when I got the ding today. I was looking at prices for October. ;) We are flying out of BWI in July because SW dropped their early morning nonstop flights out of IAD. I don't know what is going on with them. :sad2:

Here is info from the Dis for last year's F&WF. All they have released for this year, so far, are the dates. But by reading through this link, you should get a feel for what there is to offer.

Kelli - I hope you are having a wonderful time!!!

Well my winter reprieve is over. Soccer starts tonight, so between that, dance and religion, we will now be on the go every evening except for Thursdays. Then it all slows down again come mid-June.

I've spent the entire day entering and organizing all the lacrosse info I collected last night. I think I'm finally ready for tonight and hopefully tomorrow night too. I am a bit frazzled. 20 minutes until I need to head off.

Thanks Tammi, I did go there right after I posted.

Heidi,
We went to F&W last year. Come hungry!!!! There was so much to try at each kiosk that we were so stuffed. We skipped a dinner one night because the food outside was so good. Veal meatballs in Italy, Perogies in Poland, Dumplings in China, Chocolate Creme Brulee in France,...yum! Weekends are more crowded with locals.
