DDA Chapter 25

Awe, she just said she misses her friend Terra

I think Terra was almost as disappointed about not seeing Olivia as about not going to WDW at all this year. Maybe next year!

Too bad no one is around right now. I've got a glorious thing going with all 5 people who are at home being asleep and everyone else being at work or the movies. Of course, it would be a whole lot nicer without all of the drama weighing me down, but heck if I'm going to waste some quiet time! LOL! I think I'll go make up a quick snack and take a crack at some of those photos (especially since I spent half the night dreaming about trying to organize them and the program not liking me).

Thought of another challenge I forgot to mention. On more than one trip the date stamp has been wrong on my camera. You would think I would LEARN.:headache: I guess there is some freeware you can get to fix it but I bet it won't work on a Mac. I have to say I do find the Mac easier for photo management.

I was also thinking about the photos you want to scan. I would think it would be a lot easier if you sort through the physical photos before you scan them in put them into some sort of order rather than trying to sort out all the scanned images after the fact.

:wizard:Good luck with it all!!!:wizard:

I managed to get the record labels finished (well I still need one photo, but since I don't have it I'm done for now :cool1:) I ran the errands that I needed to run though I haven't been able to find a locksmith yet. We had a friend loan us their rooftop cargo box, but she can't find the keys :headache: I want to get one made or the lock changed, but can't find a local locksmith. There must be one, but I don't have time to worry about it today.

I need to get some clothing packed for this weekend and out to the camper as I'm working tomorrow and we'll be leaving soon after work. Of course the boys need to interview some elderly people so I'm taking them to my great aunt and uncles house at 4 and Colby has lacrosse practice and Nick and Hunter have their concert tonight. Busy...Busy.

Jennifer, I am glad your dad was able to come home!

Tia, good thoughts for your family!
I should buy a scanner for all of our photos. One of these days. :rolleyes1

Tomorrow is my baby boy's 11 birthday! He asked to go for Japanese food for his birthday dinner. I am happy & sad all at once. He will be heading to middle school this fall & it's all happening too fast.

Happy birthday Daniel! What a cute picture. Nicholas had an outfit very similar to that. Enjoy your day.

Elizabeth - In case I don't have a chance before you leave, I hope you all have a fabulous trip. Can't wait to hear your touring plan for US (what worked, what didn't, etc.) When are you home? Will we be getting live reports?

we are flying southwest

Have a safe trip

Sooo cute, Happy Early Birthday to Daniel. Yep they grow up fast, but after they are grown you get to be a grandparent and it's amazing, so there's definitely a bright side!

Happy Birthday Daniel:goodvibes:goodvibes

Have a great trip Elizabeth.

We've been working on setting more concrete plans for our trip. I did book Native Choice for their extreme ruins tour in Costa Maya, we have Victor Bodden booked for the canopy tour and snorkeling in Roatan and if the weather cooperates we will go to Paradise Beach in Cozumel. I also bought tickets to Sea World. I found a promo which allowed us to buy a $5 childs ticket with a full price adult ticket. So it cost $260 for the 5 of us rather than nearly $500. That will make Colby and Hunter very happy.

We are trying to quickly pack the camper for our trip tomorrow.

The concert went well, both boys played their parts perfectly

Happy Birthday Daniel!

Elizabeth- Have a great trip. They have been having soft openings of Wizarding World of Harry Potter first thing in the morning for on-site hotel guests and today they allowed some people from the public into the park. But it has closed each day around 11am.

Tia- I hope the drama goes away.

I am ready to just run away. I have 3 huge issues going on at work, plus a 4th brewing. Some of them have been ongoing for months. I just want them to go away. I tried running away but they were still there when I came back. ;)

I may have to look for that freeware. I noticed that some of my pictures are off too - mostly from other people's cameras though. My time is off sometimes, but only by an hour or so. Theirs are off by several years.

When it comes to scanning I do sort them into folders as I go. Plus, the organizer has those set up as "watched" folders. If I scan a dozen pics, then launch organizer, it will recognize them and then pull them in for me to tag. That part, at least, I had figured out already.

we are flying southwest

Yeah and not so yeah! ;) I was kind of hoping someone was driving with you so that you might come though my way. However, flying is a much nicer way to go!

Happy Birthday Daniel!

Happy birthday, Daniel!

Good luck with your work situations, Becky. I know our CDM has had a couple stalking her as well. I can't even imagine how tough some situations are by the time they make it to you.

Our drama has been kind of stagnant today. That could be good as it had potential to erupt today so nothing is better than what it could have been. I'm just praying that those involved will grow up, not do anything potentially damaging out of anger and apologize where necessary.

Happy Birthday Daniel!!!

Theresa-safe travels!:wizard:

Becky-yuck! Hope things clear up soon!:wizard:

I am NOT at all ready for Monster Camping. I pulled a few clothes together for Lizzy but not me yet. Need to pull all the camping stuff together. Need to do some laundry in the morning.

The school nurse called and said Emma had lice.:scared1::scared1::scared1: BUT....I'm not convinced. The only thing I see under a bright light and magnifying glass is dry scalp. PLUS she has the welts on her head AND she has the same welts on her shoulder. Could lice be the cause of welts on her shoulders?

To be safe We've washed her bed, the couch slip cover and still working on our bed. I just want to go to bed but can't yet.

I guess I'll have to get DH to take her to the doctor in the morning to see if they can figure out what the welts are.

And just to keep things interesting I have a loose crown. I guess I'll try to call dentist in the morning but I don't have time for that!

AND...it is supposed to rain this weekend.:scared1:

We'll have fun once we get there right????????

You'll be ready and you'll have fun!!! No worries. I hope there's nothing serious with Emma and better yet that there's no lice. I don't know if they could cause welts or not. Maybe the nurse was just being overly cautious when she couldn't figure out the welts, especially if Emma was feely itchy.

Thanks, Tammi! We come home June 19. Yes, live reports pretty much every day. I probably won't pay for internet at Hard Rock, but we're just there for 1 night.

have fun elizabeth!!!!

Thanks, Jen!

Deb, sounds like your plans are coming together!

Thanks, Becky! We should be able to hit WWoHP both mornings we are onsite for at least a couple of hours. I have been following the reports on the US/IOA forum.

I hate work stress. :headache: I hope you can get things resolved soon. It sounds like it has been dragging long enough!

Bernadette, :scared1: I hope she doesn't have lice! Ugh. And I hope you have fun camping. Of course I think "Fun camping" is an oxymoron. But I still hope you manage to pull it off. ;) Good luck with the crown. :wizard:

 I hope the nurse is wrong. My kids get flaky scalp when they don't rinse the shampoo out throroughly and that always makes me wonder. Thankfully they are doing much better rinsing now. I hope you have a nice camping trip. We'll be camping too, thankfully we'll have our camper so we can sit out the rain and we'll probably do that by watching Harry Potter Movies. We're trying to watch all movies that might relate to our upcoming trip in some way.

Get that crown fixed, that would be one less thing to worry about today.
