HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRISTINE

Would you let your 10 yr. old stay home with your almost 8 yr. old while you did a quick trip to the grocery store, maybe being going an hour, at most?
Yep. My boys do that and have for years. My 10 year old neice and 7 yr old nephew do too
Any recommendations for a good chapter book series for Alyssa? Something a little more challenging that Frannie K. or Magic Treehouse.
Good Morning all!!
I am doing okay today....looking forward to gs cookies being delivered later
One good thing about the hydrocodone.....when I fall asleep at night I stay asleep!!
I get to go bowling this morning, and then back home. I've got to do some online training for Scouts, and then take a test for my class. The work is getting more and more tricky, so I'm taking more and more time. Not good! I'm supposed to be done with the class by April 1, and I don't think I'm going to make it! Wish me luck with that!

I got Katie's schedule hammered out with her counselor yesterday. Barring any misfortune, she will have Academy English, Academy Utah History, Academy Science, Algebra 1, Health, P.E., Intermediate Orchestra, Spanish 1, half a year of Drama and half a year of Creative writing. She's pretty exited about the schedule.
Have a great day everyone! Stay toasty warm!
My van is fixed! There was a problem with a steering belt, they fixed it for no charge!
We had taken it in for a full workup in November & apparantly this belt was covered under what they had worked on already. We did take a peek at the pre owed minivans but now (hopefully) we can put that off for another year or so!
Finally checking in. Another busy day. I was a sub this morning, then went to Colby's Valentine's Day party. I came home and tried to nap as I woke up with a sore throat and runny nose. Unfortunately the sore throat was bad enough that I couldn't fall asleep. Hunter got good news from his Doctor today. They will do an MRI in June and he won't need the contrast which means that they won't have to do an IV. He has been worried about that nonstop since we got home from surgery. With any luck all of his future MRIs will be without contrast and he will be totally happy to have them.
I got a very important reminder today about why one needs to be prepared during the winter with boots, snow pants, a shovel, cinders, etc. I got stuck on a side street in downtown Easton. I couldn't even get out of the driver's door, I had to climb over into the passenger seat to get out of my car. It took 4 people to help get me out. The snow stopped days ago but the roads are still horrible in places.Plus they are calling for the possibility of 4-8 inches on Monday.
anybody else having to sign back in every time they come back to the dis today? I even had to do it in the middle of a response earlier....I have hit remember me every single time
