HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRISTINE

this one is just so cool!!!:goodvibes

Happy Birthday, Kristine!!

Yay about the van!

Can't believe you got that much snow Marci. :cold:

My bed is a total loss. Three baffles in the center of the bed burst. Me thinks my DGS jumped on my bed. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1 He never got the concept that my bed was a waterbed and he couldn't jump on it. Afterall, he could jump on all the other beds. So I need to go bed shopping.

I also have a party to go to. And I forgot to make an appointment to get my hair done. So I have to do it myself. Happy, happy, joy, joy.

Have a great weekend DDA! Happy Valentines Day.:love:

Would you let your 10 yr. old stay home with your almost 8 yr. old while you did a quick trip to the grocery store, maybe being going an hour, at most?

Yep. My boys do that and have for years. My 10 year old neice and 7 yr old nephew do too

Good afternoon! Ive been having issues with my computer so have not been able to check in.
Tammi-We had 3 snow days last week and we were supposed to be off on MOnday--they took that away as one snow day makeup.

Does anyone have an itouch? I just got one yesterday (love it so far!) I have been asking anyone that has one what are your favorite applications? especially free ones :)
Thanks!

I got a very important reminder today about why one needs to be prepared during the winter with boots, snow pants, a shovel, cinders, etc. I got stuck on a side street in downtown Easton. I couldn't even get out of the driver's door, I had to climb over into the passenger seat to get out of my car. It took 4 people to help get me out. The snow stopped days ago but the roads are still horrible in places.:scared1::rolleyes1 Plus they are calling for the possibility of 4-8 inches on Monday.

Let's just say I am beyond ready to move to FL. If only I could find a job there.

I hope you are all doing well.

Happy Birthday Kristine.

Alyssa might like the American Girl books.

Any recommendations for a good chapter book series for Alyssa? Something a little more challenging that Frannie K. or Magic Treehouse.

Kassie, who turned 8 today, really likes to read the Rainbow Fairy books.

Good Morning all!!

I am doing okay today....looking forward to gs cookies being delivered later:goodvibes

One good thing about the hydrocodone.....when I fall asleep at night I stay asleep!!

Glad you're doing okay, Theresa. Hope the cookies brightened your day!

I get to go bowling this morning, and then back home. I've got to do some online training for Scouts, and then take a test for my class. The work is getting more and more tricky, so I'm taking more and more time. Not good! I'm supposed to be done with the class by April 1, and I don't think I'm going to make it! Wish me luck with that!
...
I got Katie's schedule hammered out with her counselor yesterday. Barring any misfortune, she will have Academy English, Academy Utah History, Academy Science, Algebra 1, Health, P.E., Intermediate Orchestra, Spanish 1, half a year of Drama and half a year of Creative writing. She's pretty exited about the schedule.

Have a great day everyone! Stay toasty warm!

You'll get through it all in time! We'll send :wizard: for you as well, though. Yeah for Katie's schedule. It sounds like a good one for her.

My van is fixed!:woohoo: There was a problem with a steering belt, they fixed it for no charge!:yay: We had taken it in for a full workup in November & apparantly this belt was covered under what they had worked on already. We did take a peek at the pre owed minivans but now (hopefully) we can put that off for another year or so!

:banana::dance3:

Finally checking in. Another busy day. I was a sub this morning, then went to Colby's Valentine's Day party. I came home and tried to nap as I woke up with a sore throat and runny nose. Unfortunately the sore throat was bad enough that I couldn't fall asleep. Hunter got good news from his Doctor today. They will do an MRI in June and he won't need the contrast which means that they won't have to do an IV. He has been worried about that nonstop since we got home from surgery. With any luck all of his future MRIs will be without contrast and he will be totally happy to have them.

What a load of Hunter's mind that must be!

Glad you got out safely. Drive carefully when you must, everyone!

Becky you live in PA. the state with the worst roads on a good day, never take side or back roads in the winter.

I have been having this problem for months. So I just have reduced my posting. If I do not create the message super quick and post it I have to start over. Often I will create it in word and then quickly cut and past what I want to post.

Yes and it is very annoying

Tammi - Leslie really loves the Rainbow Fairy books. She just started a series called The Fairy Realm. The first book is "The Charm Bracelet." Katie loved them, and now, so does Leslie.

I have to sign in each time. Even through my bookmarked one. Very annoying!:headache::headache::headache:
