For anyone at WDW July 16-23, would anyone care to get together at our THV? We were thinking of doing a BBQ or maybe desserts? We are requesting one close to the pool so the kids could enjoy swimming too

We've been dug out since yesterday afternoon and the roads were clear right here as well since then. We had about 18-20 inches. I have lots of friends who have no power and still have not seen a plow that are nearby. I happen to live on the same street as the township building where they store the trucks, so they need to drive through here to get other places.

They are calling for another storm here Tuesday into Wednesday which could produce the same amount of snow. But they are not really sure yet.

I hope you all stay warm and safe.

We have about 20 inches..all the main roads are clear but the back roads still look bad...im sure we will have school tomorrow-just not sure if we will have a delay..They are talking about the storm tuesday/wednesday but no one is saying how much snow

Transformers were exploding all through our neighborhood last night and many of our friends are without power. We are lucky so far.

But the 9-degree temps we have right now are going to make digging out a hard task today. We are planning to do it in lots of little bites instead of all at once. However, even when we get dug out, there is the fact that our road has not been plowd yet and there is a tree across our road. So I think we may be in here a while.

Oh, yeah... there is another snow storm headed our way on Tuesday night! I may kill the groundhog next time I go home to visit.

Thank goodness for our neighbors, they helped plow our driveway out. We got almost two feet out here in our neighborhood. I am so tired of snow right now.

Elin, I will make sure the stinking groundhog that hides in our neighborhood never sees his shadow again. No more trying not to hit him with my car!!!

I'm home! What a long, exhausting weekend, but we really had a good time. I work with a squad of great guys and gals. My quote of the day, when I would have people complaining about trees/wires down, roads impassable, no electricity or heat, etc., was "just be glad you don't live in Haiti."

I must say, Elin, we didn't get nearly as much snow down here as up north. What was the official total for Fburg? I was trudging through some stuff above my knees!

we are tired of the Bud Light commercials. Betty White, The Dove for men and cars.com are our favs so far.


My favorite so far has been the Big Bang Theory cut in....laughed my hiney off.

I'm basting tie dye mickey shirts while watching the game (commercials actually ). I'm surprising a friend that did a lot for us when Hunter was sick. There are 8 people in her party so I'll be basting for awhile.

Good Morning,

I'm not that into football so I didn't watch the Superbowl. I did doe off before it was over but the fireworks woke me up, so I knoew right then the Saints had won.

The kids spent the night Saturday night, Aubrey had a fitfull night and got up with a slight fever, she was feeling better last night so hopefully she was just cutting another tooth.

Not sure what to ask for, good thoughts maybe?

The past couple of nights a car has gone past pretty fast, but shinning a spotlight. Of course I'm worried, dh thinks it could be neighborhood watch, I don't know if we have neighborhood watch. Have not heard about the police looking for someone, so hoping it is neighborhood watch.

Good morning!
We have another 90 minute delay today so im taking my time getting ready this morning.
The news just said we could get another 6-12 inches of snow tomorrow into wednesday--i t could be a long week!
