I finally heard back from the doctor, and everything is fine with me. No diabetes, no thyroid disease, no kidney disease. Just incredibly low iron which a pill a day will take care of. Hooray!!! I do have to go back in 12 weeks to have my blood tested again.

Now, I'm hunkered down to spend the afternoon/evening baking. Should be fun!!!

That's great news, Glynis. I'm so glad it's an easier fix.

I would have to say yes. We have ridden ee 3 times, safari, flights of wonder ate lunch at yak n yeti, rode primevil whirl, tricerotops spin, and saw the parade. We r on line for pictures with mickey n gang at camp mickey minnie. We could not get into nemo but we got there late n since we have seen it we did not wait for the next show.

Sounds like a great time! I'm glad you're having fun.

Thanks for all the Christmas cards that I've been getting. :goodvibes:

Good morning, DDA!!

Happy Christmas Eve Eve!

The house, well the kitchen at least, has suffered the last few busy, busy days so that's on tap for this morning. After that, I can finally make my fudge and get my oreo truffles dipped. A little bit of wrapping, finishing up Terra's ornaments for family, and then it will be off to work. Tomorrow, we can finally finish up the shopping and then sit back and enjoy Christmas! Despite Erin's protests we are going with appetizers and fun food over a big dinner so that will make the day a little easier, especially for me and Mom. I think it will be quite tasty too! And my Christmas day will be much nicer preparing (already cooked) shrimp, a fruit pizza and a couple of pies as opposed to being the main cook and bottle washer for a 15 dish meal.

glad they liked them we made sure to send an extra of each candy and pen/pencil so that all 3 boys would have one. Glad the boys liked the ornaments. The first pooh had a pine cone problem so had to replace thats what took so long. Did Hunter like his Mad lib. That was harder to find then I thought it would be. Had a hard time deciding on which ornament to get him that is why he got Pooh and Pluto. Colby's had a hard time finding Donald.. Never made it to the Hallmark store.

The boys loved the ornaments. Colby definitely loved the Donald's and Pooh and Pluto are Hunter's favorites :thumbsup2 Hunter is enjoying the Mad Libs. The boys always do those together and read them to us.

We are also doing appetizers rather than a big meal this year. It is easier and allows for more variety for all. We're having appetizers tomorrow night here then we're going to church. Christmas Day we'll have apps at my parents for lunch while having their tree.

I'm finishing up wrapping :cool1: I thought of a couple of things that I need to pick up tonight, but it shouldn't be to bad. I also need to finish our Christmas cards are the rest finally came in. So much to do, so little time.

three more hours then I am off for eleven (11) days!!!!!!! :thumbsup2:woohoo::banana::cool1::dance3::cheer2:

not that I am excited :lmao:

Deb glad you got your wrapping done!

Terry yay for 11 days off :cool1:

The house is clean! All that is left is to mop the the floors & I will wait till tomorrow night to do that.

I do not feel the greatest today & any little thing is getting on my nerve. Hate being such a grump, hopefully tomorrow will be better!

Quick fly by here! I hope you are all enjoying your holidays? Things here are hectic as usual!

We are going to a family Christmas party tonight, so I've been cooking up a storm for that. We are taking PB&J sticky wings, and corn risotto. I've still got tons of baking to do, as I went to bed early last night. Just plain exhausted, and needed an early night!

Hopefully, we'll get everything done by tomorrow night. We are having baked potato soup tomorrow night, so that won't take long to make. I'll get a start on Christmas dinner tomorrow, by making the egg nog gelatin salad. Hopefully, I can get the sweet potato casserole done, too.

I'm trying to get Alan to help wrap the presents that are left, but I'm not sure how well that will go over. He'd much rather play on his computer than do any of that. Oh well, it will all get done, and I can sleep on the 26th!

Merry Christmas to everyone! I'll try to check in tomorrow, but can't promise anything!

Winter break time!!!!!! I went out for dinner with my brother and mom..finished wrapping my presents..wrote out thank you cards for the ones i got from work..and now im relaxing!!

Please keep your fingers crossed that my kids fall deeply asleep quickly, and that they don't wake up while I'm down in the basement wrapping presents. Nothing like waiting til the last minute, eh?

Janet -

My fingers are crossed. I sent the kids to my brother's house this afternoon and took care of that task. My SIL wrapped theirs while my kids were keeping hers busy ;)

I'm home again safe and sound. The roads were dry & clear. Chuck has the tree lit in the living room. He is in the garage working on the mower. I decide to sit down and just soak in the tree, turn on the TV and Chuck has the History channel on. Guess what is on the History Channel? Modern Marvels Walt Disney World!!!!!! It never gets old. What a wonderful, relaxing thing to come home to.

I'm glad that you're home safely and enjoying basking in the Christmas/Disney spirit. Relaxation is so underrated.

Chris, Colby and I just did a Disney puzzle in front of our Trees. Now Colby is on the noradsanta site playing some of the games. Santa leaves in just over 4 hours for his journey. Someone in my house is getting excited :goodvibes

So. The kids slept. I wrapped. Until I ran out of tape. Thankfully I only have 3 more things to wrap, but they, of course, are the 3 BIGGEST things that I have to wrap. Band Hero for Nicholas, an armoire for Alyssa's AG doll's clothes, and another thing. I'll get some tape tomorrow, since I have to go to the grocery store for my ham and a few other odds and ends.

Vicki - I'm glad you are home safe and sound. Enjoy the togetherness of you, Chuck and the girls.

We made it home safe & sound. Hope everyone is well. Thank you all for the Christmas cards!
