Well, no word from the doctor today. They didn't hear from the lab, so the nurse said she'd call them in the morning and I should hear tomorrow. I hate waiting!!!

Looks like it's been a busy day for people, based on the number of posts today. I got all the shopping done for Christmas Eve and Christmas day, so that was good! We have a major storm coming in tonight, and it's supposed to snow all day tomorrow and into Wednesday. Guess I'll be staying home and finishing the Christmas baking.

I made 3 loaves of pumpkin bread this afternoon, and my house smells heavenly!!! We're keeping one of the loaves, and I'll give the other 2 to some neighbors!

I am ill....which only adds to my glorious mood I went to the Salvation Army this morning to pick up the girls angel tree items....you can tell giving is down and requests are up. Which I find super sad. When I came home I went downhill fast...sore throat, feeling like I've got a fever, other fun stuff. Nap didn't help much. I am hoping I feel better tomorrow as I really want to bake with my girls (they did so well on cleaning up....well kind of but they did it after I went to nap and without me harping on them)

Glynis-I hope that it is just low iron.

I had to call the Dr. today for some antibiotics. My sinuses are draining giving me a sore throat along with a earache. I was suppose to have Christmas off, but I will be working now. So is life huh.

Hi DDA,

It took a few days but now I can finish the story of watching Illuminations. Somehow I lost, deleted or didn't load properly a few pictures and the one special picture was lost with them, but someone else had a copy and sent it to me.

We knew that last year after watching Illuminations everyone was treated to a private ride on Soaring. What the surprise this year, no one knew. Deb did say it was a two part surprise. We were guessing all day and just could not figure out what it was. I started thinking about the other rides in Epcot and thought maybe it was something to do with either Test Track or Spaceship Earth. then I thought that we would be transported to another park????

After Illuminations was over, the excitement was growing. Our escorts came over and off we went following the little red flashing wands. at one point, we came up to a building on the way to Future World and I thought maybe there was something inside for us but what???? well, we kept walking and then came to the restrooms!!! Everyone made a bee line and I joked, this was part one of the surprise!!!

Our special lanyards were sorta the clue.

We ended up at Test Track and we knew that was part one. A ride on Test Track of just our group!!! Afterwards, we stood in line and small groups were picked and we ended up going in a small elevator. We were taken up to the GM private lounge!!!! As we stood in line, it became apparent that we were getting our pictures taken,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Test Track Mickey!!!!!! They managed to get him as part of the surprise.

It ended up being so late that we all wondered how we were going to get back to our resorts. They had busses waiting for us. Cheryl and I were the only ones on our bus and he took us right to our stop instead of going to each one.

What a fantastic ending to a great trip.

Okay, so I need to Wii advice! Phil's parents sent us more than I was expecting so I want to go ahead and get the Wii that Terra has been asking for. I plan to get the system, Toy Story Mania and something for me. Should I go for the Fit, the new version of Fit, Active or something else? If I do Active or something else will I need the balance board anyway? Any other good games I should consider? I can always get them at her birthday as well.

I think I'm also going to take a little bit of the money and upgrade Santa from the video camera I got on Black Friday to a Flip if I can find a good price this week. Those that have a Flip, will I need to get anything to go with it?

Tia - If you get a Fit, get the new Fit Plus. Evidently on that one you don't have to unlock the games like you do on the Fit. I don't know anything about Active. I would also get either Wii Resort or Wii Sports. It comes with a variety of games, plus another controller.

Theresa - I hope you are feeling better today! If not, stay down, and let your body rest. Let the girls do the baking and pamper you!

Tia - I agree with Tammi. The Fit Plus would be the way I would go. We love our Fit, but there are things about the Plus that I would want. Not sure on the balance board.

Terry - What a neat experience! I love the picture!!!

Today is the kid's last day of school. Really, it's a throw away day, but they are all excited, since it's party day! They will do a Christmas Sing at 10:00 this morning, so Timothy and I will bundle up and brave the elements for that! It's really cute!

After that, it's back home for me, to do wrapping, baking, and general Christmas stuff! I'm hoping I can get it all wrapped while Timothy is napping and the kids are still gone. I've done a lot, but there's still a handful of stuff to wrap.

Tomorrow we will take the kids to the dollar store, to pick up stuff for their friends, and for the family Christmas party tomorrow night. The grown ups are dong a white elephant, but the kids don't think that's fun. There are tears if they don't get something they can actually play with, so dollar store gifts it will be.

Tia, thanks for the well-wishes for my family. Regardless of the package, you need the balance board as a foundation for Wii Fit. I heard you actually break out a sweat with Wii Fit Active. My mom did buy Alyssa a tripod for her Flip, so she can make her own videos. You might also want to buy some rechargeable batteries (I believe they are AA).

Good morning. Last full day and we are going to animal kingdom, dinner at tusker house. Crowds are thick but we are doing everything we can. Do not want to go home tomorrow!!! Its cold but thankfully no rain.

Everyong good luck getting things finished up while the kiddos are still at school. Our kids are already off, Friday was their last day. We're hibernating. I've got a cold and Colby sounds like he might too. I'm not complaining as it's nothing compared to what Hunter has been through. I'll just get some extra sleep.

I finally heard back from the doctor, and everything is fine with me. No diabetes, no thyroid disease, no kidney disease. Just incredibly low iron which a pill a day will take care of. Hooray!!! I do have to go back in 12 weeks to have my blood tested again.

Now, I'm hunkered down to spend the afternoon/evening baking. Should be fun!!!
