CONGRATULATIONS, Cassidy!!!
I haven't done that yet, but I plan to. Though it looked like I can see you without signing up.
You are welcome! I did make the can you find toys. I wasn't completely happy with the Mickey one, but I didn't have time for a do over. It needs to be just a bit bigger so that things can flow into/out of the ear portion better. That would make it a little easier to manipulate.
I am just as far behind as you are, but I don't have nearly the stress that you have. I don't know why I am so far behind this year.
I will add your friend's son to my prayers.
You are welcome!
That is so sweet! They are very easy to make, especially using the fleece, since you don't have to worry about the edges.
I did a Christmas-themed one: little present, candy cane (pretend), red and green jingle bells, Christmas themed erasers, etc. I found a lot of those items at the craft store. I also did another that had a mini bowling pin, coins, fun shaped buttons (flip flop, sunglasses), small erasers (flamingo, palm tree, turtle, fish), shaped beads and other little items. Start looking around now and sticking little things in a bag. I'm going to make one for Laura and put in one of her nose clips from synchro. She is the one that originally found the bags on-line and requested one.
We do a bottle in preschool. Since it's part of our beach day unit, we use colored sand. It's also part of our numbers unit, so for that I use: 1 bottle, 2 colors of sand, 3 seashells, etc. Just be sure to really glue the tops on.
Robyn, congratulations on the great finish to your class!
