Hunter woke up around 4 am and he is feeling much much better. His color is back, the swelling is a bit better, he's thirsty, ate some sherbert, he's smiled several times and I've even caught him singing. Rumor has it that he's going home today. That will make him so happy.

Bernadette - Sending more prayers your way

Thanks to everyone for the lovely Christmas cards, we finally got ours out this weekend and the tree is up so I'm making some progress, this year I've been behind but it looks like we're catching up.

I woke up in my own bed today! Woo Hoo!. I'm getting ready to make a pot of Starbucks coffee. I'm going out to my driveway to retrieve my newspaper. I'm going to shower and come out of the bathroom naked and get dressed in my own bedroom, sitting down, not standing behind a privacy screen. I am watching the Today show. I am going to look through my closet and see if I can locate my Christmas cards to send.

See I need to be happy about this because Terry is still sleeping in the pirate beds, drinking Disney coffee, has no newspaper and couldn't care less, is showering and standing behind the very cool pirate privacy screen, eating Dole whips, is going to EPCOT today and eating at Chef de France and going to an Illuminations party with Deb Wills. <where is the dis green with envy smilie?>

Off to church....

Bernadette - I hope today brings more comfort to you and your family.

Deb - I am amazed at Hunter's resilience! I hope he does get to go home today.

I got our shortbreads all baked and the Snax are done too. Christmas cooking is done for me.

The presents are all laid out on the coffee table, awaiting wrapping and shipping.

Laundry is being worked on so I can pack as it comes out of the dryer.

I have my programs for Monday and Tuesday recitals designed and just need to finish printing them in the morning.

This afternoon I go to see The Nutcracker. Not only is Tammi's Alyssa in it, but one of my students is Clara! Many more of my students are also in this production (there are four different Nutcrackers in our town this season!). It will make is seem a lot like Christmas!

I have to try to get some things done today. I have to finish up the Christmas gifts that need to mailed, wrap them, and get them boxed up so DH can get them in the mail this week.

Then I have a list of a million other things I wanted to make. A ton of laundry, suitcases to put away, photos to upload, Christmas cards to get out......

I did my baking yesterday, cut outs, chocolate chip, and peanut butter. I made snickerdoodles, but had to throw them out.
