OMG how cute to see about 50 girls from the kindergarten Daisys to The Seniors of girl scouts singing Christmas carols. The residents really loved it.

I always loved that. It is always cool to see the older girls with the younger ones doing anything.

Tammi's Alyssa was terrific this afternoon in "The Nutcracker!" :goodvibes
Thanks, Elin. She enjoyed having you there today. She has been dancing around the living room tonight w/ a Nutcracker that I have on the mantel, acting like she is Clara.

Where do you research to rent a car while you are at Disney? We are looking at renting a car for the week-end to go to my brothers in Tampa. We'd start and end at Disney. I've never rented a vehicle before so don't even know where to start.

That's cute! Glad she had fun in her performance.

Tomorrow is fifties day at school. We've just finished assembling their wardrobe. Alyssa is wearing a pair of jeans capris, a white button down oxford, penny loafers with bobby socks, a pink scarf around her neck, and her hair in a ponytail with a fat white hair band. Nicholas has his jeans cuffed up, white socks, black loafers, and a white tshirt. He's told me I'm going to have to get up early so I have time to grease his hair back. I can't find anything that I could substitute as a pack of cigarettes to roll up in his shirt. A deck of cards falls out. I guess his bicep is too pewny.

Can't you take the cards out of the box and substitute it with kleenex or something. That would make it the right size but not so heavy!

Deb-:banana:how wonderful that Hunter is home!!!

Could you fold a paper towel to be the right size and tape it in place on the sleeve?

That's a good idea! I'll try it in the morning.

I just realized how boring Sunday nights are now that The Amazing Race is over. It's all downhill from here. :sad2:

I just realized I havent really posted all weekend--and its not like i was doing anything productive! i did some shopping --finished christmas , bought my niece's birthday present, and bought myself 3 new dresses ;) ..i got my christmas cards written (they will be mailed this week-i apologize ahead of time fors ome of them--after i wrote out all the addresses, i realized some of the envelopes were not staying closed so i had to tape them -i wasnt redoing all the addresses ;))
Today was just football all day and now im ready to crash. I have 7.5 teaching days left til break and i know the kids are going to be crazy!!

One day I expect to see her dance that part! :goodvibes

We go to disney this week too!

:yay:

:yay: And I hope to see you there! I think our best bet is at dinner on Sunday. You ought to be leaving about the time we come in! I will take a look at your PM more carefully and respond tomorrow, Anne Marie.

We got home around 12:30. Hunter was able to have a long hot bath and wash his hair. We had lunch then he took a nap on the couch. It's funny because all he wanted was his bed, yet he chose to nap on the couch. I think he may still be leary about being alone. He hasn't been alone at all in almost 4 weeks. He is doing extremely well, the neurosurgeon was thoroughly impressed. The school nurse stopped by (she went to the hospital first and couldn't believe that he'd been released). I am a total emotional wreck. I've experienced so many emotions over the last month that now I can't seem to keep things in check. His friend (girl, but not girlfriend) came over and she had bought him a Winnie the Pooh at the Disney store yesterday. I started crying when she gave it to him. I think it will take a while for us to decompress. His incision is much larger than I had expected. It is shaped a bit like a question mark and I bet it is about a foot in length. Thankfully most of it will be covered by his hair, only a tiny bit in front of his ear might be visable.

When we heard that the entire tumor was gone yesterday Hunter made the comment "I wasn't worried, I knew she was an awesome surgeon":goodvibes

Colby looked at the incision today and proclaimed it "cool" He told Hunter that girls "like a guy with a scar" :rotfl2::goodvibes

I'm pretty much exhausted, but I think I'm better off waiting to sleep until tonight. I'm not sure that my body could handle another short nap at this point.
What a great note. I'm so happy for Hunter. You will rest tonight.:dance3::dance3::dance3:

Cute!

I drank two glasses of Nuvo and tried to pretend I was in France. :dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

After drinking around the world, Terry had dinner in France then went to an Illuminations party with an after event at Test Track and then private pictures with Mickey.

I have to go to work tomorrow. She's going to ride Toy Story Mania.

<where or where is that dis green with envy smilie???>
