Elin, cots and rollaways are like Yetis and Bigfoots. You hear people who swear they have seen them, but other people swear there is no such thing. I have no clue.

OMG I just spent 6 1/2 hrs cooking meat. Somehow the door to our deep freeze came open and the meat got all thawed out. Luckily the high today was only uppper 50's. Luckily I wanted something out of their for lunch so I found it before all the food got spoilt. I guess their was a reason I had a high temp yesterday. So that I had to stay home today. Thank God for 2 friends that live close by who let me borrow their crock pots. I also sent some meat to my moms. Still have some more to cook tomorrow. Jeff spent 3hrs grilling meat as well.
I did have to toss some meat as it had gotten a hole in the package, and I had to toss some TV dinners and hot pockets I had out their. And some Vanilla Ice Cream
Well, as of midnight last night, our Girls' Trip is still a go. The three of us talked and Sandy really feels she needs to escape, if only for a couple of days. The only change to the plan is that she is going to bring her DD along. I adore Hayley so that is not a hardship at all!
My only concern is that we are staying in an AKV studio. She thinks they will get us a rollaway. I thought I read somewhere that they won't do that. Am I mistaken? Sandy and Val planned to share the bed and I was going to sleep on the fold out. I am perfectly happy with leaving the couch folded up so there is room for a rollaway, but...![]()

I wasn't searching for old crushes on Facebook. I was searching for old friends and saw an old crush. There's a difference. I don't have a folder on him or anything!!!
I pulled up the class of 1979 for Brighton high school. I looked at all 100 of the people to see if I recognized any names. I hadn't thought of him in years so when I saw his name it all came flooding back.

I'm glad you're still getting to go. I'm sure it will be good for Sandy and Hayley. Does anyone have an Aerobed type thing they could bring along just in case?
Tia how many boxes of cookies is Terra going to try to sell. I asked Olivia and she said she wanted to sell 100.![]()
Who knows? I don't think she tends to think in box counts, which is good! We just finished selling nuts/candy and will do cookies in Jan/Feb. I think last year she got about 50. Good luck on the 100! She certainly sets her sight high!
Chris thanks you for the birthday wishes. They were perfect. We certainly needed a little sunshine in our day.
We were awaken at 5:45 this morning with a thrashing sound in Hunter's room. We headed into his room to find him in a full blown Grand Mal Seizure. Chris called 911 while I got him onto the floor. He was completely nonresponsive, eyes wide open, but no one home. He was breathing and his heart was beating. I did my best to keep his attention (I have no idea if I did or not) Chris handed me 911 and used the other phone to call my SIL next door. She ran over (she's a nurse) we got some table sugar and managed to get a bit into him through clenched teeth and dry lips. Eventually he began to utter nonsense words and he became combative, trying to get up. The Ambulance came and we checked his sugar which was normal, but we had gotten some sugar into himWe got him into the ambulance and off we went. We were probably 15 miles into the trip when he finally came back to reality and started talking and making complete sense. He seems completely fine now. The Dr. really told us nothing. We have a follow up with a pediatric neurologist on Friday. In the thrashing he managed to rebreak his clavicle and much worse. They are treating it as they were, but the 8 weeks start over. Nick and Colby saw all this happen so they were really upset. They didn't go to school, my brother and SIL kept them. Oh, I decided that my stress levels are Way too high at this point so I called and quit at the Aquatic Center. So I guess this is a day for the books.
