John went out on the porch last night to unplug a Halloween decoration and just on the outside of our deck stood an 800 lb. black bear. He ignored John and stole our garbage bag.

That is the second time a bear has been that close since we moved here.

Good morning and TGIF!! ( i had to check my phone to make sure it was Friday!)

I have no idea why I cant sleep anymore--my alarm isnt due to go off til 7 and I have been up since 530--crazy!!!

so i having horrible gas discomfort

I hope you feel better soon! I don't remember having gas discomfort, but I do remember being awfully sore for a couple of days.

I called and ordered the D&B Disney tote yesterday. I tried ordering it on Tuesday when I first saw it, but they had no measurements, no pictures, and couldn't tell me the difference between the three bags. They never called me back, so I called back yesterday and the tote was the only thing I can get. I'll have it be one of my presents from Dad. I had originally seen it on another website (can't post link here) and they had pictures of all three bags and the measurements for the large tote. It's approximately 15x11x6. They were out of them in the warehouse, but she called Summer Lace, the store at the Grand Floridian, and got it from there. I did also backorder the wristlet, and will consider my birthday gift card as payment for it, even though I could't use it over the phone. I'll use the card to get gifts for people. One warning -- the shipping on the bags is ridiculous! She said they were caught off guard by the popularity of the bags and weren't prepared and didn't have enough stock.

Jennifer -- I'm glad the surgery went well. I know you're super sore today but hope that meds will help you get over the worst of it.

Heidi -- that is crazy about the bear.

I best back to work as the boys get out earlier on Fridays.

Put it in a drawer when you get home. Thankfully I am lucky the cats here don't do that.

Unfortunately, all of the drawers in my house are full!

Marci, YAY! for getting the purse!! I will look for one in December. Good to know that the shop at the GF might have them, because I don't know if we will make it to DTD.

DH and DS are off today. I have to work later.

My parents are leaving next month on a Royal Caribbean Panama Canal cruise. I want to send a bon voyage basket to their room. Anyone know how I go about doing that?

yes thank you. the gas was making my arms feel heavy and tingling. I was nauseated so could not take my pain meds. I luckily had some advil so took that instead.

I can eat real food today as long as its low fat.

I am sorry about posting and running twice yesterday...the first was because we had to get to the ball game and last night was because I was ticked at Jim and needed to leave the room.


I was called yesterday afternoon for an interview next Thursday morning with the person doing the hiring. Next week is chockful (which hasn't happened in a loooooong time): Monday is our hosting the 5A CBA regionals and since I am not working I told them I can be there all day, Tuesday is a thing I have to go to for the state work force, Wednesday may just be free, Thursday is the interview and the band performing in the 4A Regionals, Friday is campus visit to UNC and Saturday is Doug CO Invitational.


Jennifer-I am glad your surgery went well...hope you feel better quickly!!
