Long whine ahead.

What a day. What a week. I am so glad it is Friday and I don't have to go back until Monday, I just don't know what to do.

I got up this morning to a text from my DD that her special friend had a heart attack. He seems to be okay; they are letting him out of the hospital tonight.

Had a reasonably good day at work until I paid some bills electronically and one that I paid by phone came up again. Took 3 hours on the phone with support to cancel that payment.

My friends computers have all conversed and need a whipping. I showed who was boss to one tonight. Have another cranky one tomorrow. I'm exhausted and just want to sleep.

I love FarmTown, but I'm not so fond of Yoville and Farm Ville and think I'm going to stop playing those two applications. Just not as much fun as expanding my farm. My farm is so cute.

Have a great weekend DDA. I have to go and whip some computer butt this weekend.

well the homecoming game stunk!! The boys got cocky and beat themselves...but Half Time ROCKED!! Except this older snotty woman behind me.

Before the game the band parents cleaned out one of the storage areas....we parents get all of the fun don't we??

Cassidy is so different from me so she is going through stuff I wouldn't have even thought of in HS. I was right about the young man Cassidy is going to the dance with tomorrow...they are definitely heading toward dating. During the 3rd period (when the band doesn't play) she went straight over to him and he had a blanket ready for her. Then he was definitely jealous when she yelled out (I could hear her 20 yards away) another guys name and ran over to him...until Ryan realized who it was. Then he stood by her in the 4th period (when the team really stunk it). She's had more boyfriend action so far in her life than I've had.

At the parade today I ended up talking to the photographer for one of the community papers and Cassidy may end up being in that paper. I was old enough to be his mom, I think!!

Oh, I forgot to mention in my earlier post...

My cousin who has been in Iraq since March is officially on US soil again. He landed in Bangor yesterday afternoon and is on his way to San Diego for a week before heading home. If previous reports hold true, he probably will not go back again so that's good.

I hope he is home to stay!

better than Wednesday night and yesterday. I really think I might have had a bit of a tummy bug. Other adults and students I am in contact with have had it and I usually don't have a reaction to foods. But, other than the traditional fall sinujs headache... I am feeling lots better. Thanks!

We are headed to the park in a little bit for a clean up with the Audobon Society in honor of National Public Lands Day. Gotta love my daughter, she's excited, once again, to be picking up trash! :

This afternoon and tonight I think we're headed to my old high school to see the marching band competition that they host. Rachel says that her friend's band will be there. I don't see them on the schedule I can find, though, so I hope she's right.

Guess I'd better go finishing finding our work gloves and some appropriate shoes for the mud we're sure to encounter at the park. Have a great Saturday everyone!

As always it's crazy here, the AC drain clogged and before anyone caught it we have a carpet that is flooded and water under our laminate in the hall. The carpet I don't care about as it is on my "hit" list to be replaced, it may just happen ahead of schedule, the hallway is relatively new so that one hurts.

We have a busy weekend on schedule, Brandon has a game this morning, my niece is getting married at 4 with a reception to follow, and tomorrow is scheduled as "work" day, this house needs a good cleaning and the yard has been neglected with all the raiin we've been having.

Nicholas has a game this afternoon, but his dad is taking him. Alyssa got invited to a bday party, so I will take her there. It will be his first game that I've missed. I hope nothing good happens.

Our well is almost 400 ft and we have had to replace the pump twice. We have replaced the tank in the basement once. Yes it is very costly.
