Belated birthday and anniversary wishes!!!
Glynis-what awesome news!!!!

Work has been crazy as it always is this time of year, the kids have been settling back into school routine, and I've had nasty sinus headaches for the past few weeks. I just can't take the alergy meds and function at work. I plan to try them this weekend.
I was able to change Emma's birthday trip from
AAA room only to 4/3 deal. I did have to buy tickets I don't need but this saved me $300+ over what I had and now I have $465 worth of tickets to use in the future. If AP rates come out and they are simular to December's value season rates or last January's value season rate I figure I'll be paying about $40 more with this deal but have those tickets to use. Thanks to the Dis I was able to book this deal on the AKL CL room. By the time the deal was available on the Disney site that room was no longer available for my dates and I'm guessing AP's won't be available on that room either so I was pretty happy to get the deal. I know Emma will really love AKL & doing the sunrise safari on her birthday will be really cool.
I've been thinking about Christmas. I am determined to be done before my trip November 30th so I can have a great time on my trip and enjoy the season when I get home. I'm just going to use a photo from August so I should order my Christmas cards now. We can put the fake tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving (I leave that Monday).
My SIL wants to buy Lizzy & Joe netbooks-she's very generous but that kind of puts the pressure on Santa (and they all believe) to bring something cool. I just can't think of anything they really want (other than the netbooks) or need. I think I'll do something simple for each of them and then do a Wii for all. Emma is easy as she still likes so many toys. Lizzy wants a new Nintendo DSi as her Nintendo isn't working perfectly-problem is Joe & Emma would love the DSi too but their Nintendos are fine so she might have to wait for her birthday.
I have had the kids start Christmas lists. All 3 want Club Penguin for the DS which I've already purchased. Emma has a ton of plastic Schleich toys (mostly dogs) on her list along with stuffed animals, Lizzy wants a Schleich unicorn [

), Joe wants a cord to hook his netbook (SIL has already told them she'd get them) to my TV but I don't want him doing that. But the good thing is that the kids do seem to have low expectations so I think I can do the Wii for all & something(s) simple for each child.
I think I might get Joe Moon in my Room.
http://www.amazon.com/Uncle-Milton-...e=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1254500118&sr=1-1 It looks pretty cool, it's not too expensive and gets good reviews on
Amazon. It battery operated so that is good but I've got to figure out if he'll have a place to hang it once we get his desk with hutch that take up a big chunk of the flat wall space in his room.
Poor Joe has his birthday right after Christmas too when I'm just not in the mood for anything else coming in the house so I have to keep his birthday in mind too. I tend to feel guilty after his birthdy and by then it is Emma's birthday so she makes out pretty good. I tried to not that to Joe last year & think he did OK. This year Emma will be at Disney so we won't do much at home for her.
