DDA Chapter 23

I am not planning to go out shopping tomorrow. I may go downtown to walk around and soak up the holiday feeling but it won't be early!

I am under 10 days till my first trip!!

Good morning, DDA!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Probably no shopping for us tomorrow. DH wants to take DS and be part of the first 100 people in line at Half Price Books. They open at 7 AM. The thing is, that store is NOT in a very safe area to just mill about in a line (in the dark) hoping for a $5 gift card. I am not really sure how I feel about them going. If they are going to be in the first 100 they are going to have to go pretty early.

I ordered 6 pairs of jeans from Lands End, but while I was waiting for them I found Lands End jeans at Sears. Now I have to return all the ones that I ordered. Thank goodness they all shipped free. I will not be going at 4 AM to return them.

One week until our trip. I need to iron out a few more details.

Deb - I'm so sorry for what your family is going through. To give you a little hope.....our neighbor's son had a brain tumor when he was about Hunter's age, maybe a little younger. He was suffering from severe headaches. Not sure if he was seizing or not. Anyway, they discovered the tumor, he had it removed, and is good as new. It was benign, and he suffered NO complications.

My girlfriend and I are hitting Target and Penneys. Target has a 1TB external hard drive for $60 for Bob, and Penney's for clothes for me. Nothing fits anymore now that I'm BFing...

I was a sucker and paid $44 for the DVD and 5 puppy plush set from Amazon. Then I also bought Snow White blu ray so that I could get the 2 "free" plushes from disneymovierewards and purchased the pet carrier. Emma is so into dogs right now. This is a big part of her Christmas gift. I did give her the DVD already-figured she should be able watch it before Christmas rather than wait for Christmas morning.

Deb, my mom reminded me that my sister's best friend had a brain tumor when they were in 8th grade. They also figure she had it a couple of years because she used to have horrible headaches. She had a little bit of a balance problem when it was removed but recovered totally. This was about 27 years ago.

I've done most of my shopping online this year. I've been finding online BF sales today. I will run out for awhile in the morning. Chris will be home until 7:45 and my Dad will be down to watch Hunter until I get home. I don't plan on being out long, but it will do me good to get out for a little while.

I will probably do a little bit of shopping in the morning...I went out and got a Snuggie for Abi's present today at Walgreens...and there is a ps2 HSM dance bundle for $10 at Kmart for Cassidy....now I just have to find for Josh.

dinner is a done deal and mom and Dawn are back home already.

We had a wonderful dinner and are watching for Jen at the Dallas game.
