Debbie - The grandkids are adorable as ever, and Aubrey is getting so big! Thanks for sharing your TR with us. You look like you were having such a fun time on SM!

Elizabeth - I remember it pouring that afternoon/evening of your dessert party. All the pool activities were moved inside the BC and we had to don our ponchos later at DTD when we went to Raglan Rd.

Theresa - WEAR THAT BRACE! And enjoy the vicodin. Seriously, I hope you start feeling better soon.

Robyn - Thanks for checking in. Your girls are getting so big too. Molly reminds me of Alyssa, but only in looks. I'm betting she is much tougher than my DD. I'm glad to hear you are doing better!

I'm home. Work wasn't terrible, but could have been better. In any event I'm working in the AM so I need to get to bed very soon.

I just found out that another of our downtown restaurants closed its doors las night for good. (Claiborne's, Tammi). It is so sad to see this happening over and over and over. I hope things turn around soon. This was no little restaurant. http://www.claibornesrestaurant.com/

Hmm. I think that was the day we ate lunch at the Plaza, and I was mad that they kept us waiting. But I am certain we didn't get rained on that day, so we must have been having a nap.

DH and I were talking about the laptop today. At this point we think we are leaving it at home for the December trip. That may change, but as of now we are not going to bring it.

Chris is green with envy. I'm glad that you did it. It is definitely not for me. I might have to arrange something with you for next summer as that is part of my super secret birthday plan for Chris' 40th.

Good morning! It is my last day off --i cant believe I start teaching again tomorrow--Im excited, but nervous, so trying to keep myself distracted But definitelyl not as nervous as I was last year!
Yesterday, we spent all day at 6 flags which was fun..i think we are going to the aquarium or zoo today..Our friend ish ere til Saturday so were tryiing to do lots of stuff before work starts!

Does anybody have reliable information of how to bbq beef ribs on the grill?? All recipes I can find either have it on the grill for 5-6 hours or in the oven for 45 minutes. Thanks!!

Becky we had 3 generations parasail at WDW. The five of us plus my Dad. We all had a great time. We are all going to do the zip lines in Roatan next summer, my Mom is even booked Hopefully she won't chicken out, but with the boys to egg her on I think she'll do it.

I would probably have an easier time convincing her to zip line as it is most likely not over water.

Not much going on here today. I worked this morning and it was slow which I had expected. I took a nap and then helped Hunter and his friend put some lights up in the playhouse. We've had that for 8 years and the kids never really use it, but now that his "girl" friend (not girlfriend ) is over a lot they want a hang out. So they cleaned it all out yesterday and found some lawn chairs, drew some pictures for the walls and with the addition of a few Christmas lights and a lamp they are all set up for a hang out. Colby, Summer and Logan are helping

We have elderly family from Pennsylvania visiting my great aunts house today so we're heading over there for a pot luck at 5. I made sweet and sour meatballs and I've got cornbread in the oven.
