Happy Saturday everyone! I think we're going to head to the consignment shop in a little while to check out the pink pant situation. Actually, I think she's satisfied now that the salesgirl was able to find her a pink pair of the yoga pants she was getting for dance class. She also found some really cool shirts at Target that we'll buy next weekend when I have my employee discount, a bonus discount and tax free weekend.

I will say that she was sporting a rockin' outfit today. It consisted of black shorts, her black MNSSHP shirt from the past year and lime green knee high socks with puffy ball ties at the top of them. The socks matched the characters on the shirt perfectly... ...it was just a little on the eccentric side. Too cute though!

Last night we lucked into some good 50-75% off toy clearance and finished 6 more Christmas presents - half of Terra's gifts for others and several of mine. Then today, we hit Borders for their Super Coupon event and got a few more. I don't think I've found a single thing for less than 50% off and between me and Terra have completed 8 peoples Christmas gifts and started 4 more.


Theresa - I'm glad you're enjoying your time with your mom.

Tammi - Glad you had a good trip to DC! That's one place I'd love to be closer to.

And now, it is Ann Taylor and other line like that exclusively. I never would have believed it until she got to HS though. Some of the outfits she put together were amazing.

If it weren't for the really good sales, I probably wouldn't. However, I can't pass up the really good deals!

We had a power shopping morning....3 pairs of jeans, 3 bras for Abi and 1 pair of jeans, 1 belt, 1 bra (which is hard to come by at 38DD), a skirt and a dress for Cassidy at ARC for $30, at JcPenney's a wonderful tunic for Abi, and nike band pants (pants that appropriate length and comfort for under her uniform and to wear at practices) and cute shirt for Cassidy for $15

We then came home to spend the day with my mom and 2 of her 3 brothers. My grandma was in fine form....guilted one brother into travelling 4+ hours to visit on the day that my mom had something planned without her. I mainly had fun but was glad there was alcohol available...and plenty of it toward the end....I am such an alcoholic

I have finished all of the girls Christmas shopping (yeah, right I will keep adding) except Disney Dollars. They each are getting a Vera Bradley bag and a special Disney pin and disney dollars. The best part??? I have used Pine Cone money and a gift card to pay for it all The rest of the family is getting pictures and frames.

The concert is over and the text said it as the best thing. ever.

Now they deal with the traffic. Paul didn't even get on the stage until after 9:00 because the traffic snarl was so bad people could not get to the field. It took people 4 hours to make a 20 minute drive. Boy am I glad she left early!

sounds interesting. It amazes me that they don't offer food but you can bring it in or have it delivered from other spots. I can't imagine drinking beer for any length of time without something to eat!

As always, it's crazy around here. Alyssa & Brenden have been here since Thursday night and will go home sometime tomorrow night. Things with my sister aren't good at all. And it will get ugly before it gets better which I don't think will be anytime soon. It's so bad that I am hoping Eric & I will be able to get custody of the kids sooner, rather than later. But we need to have all our ducks in a row. So if you all have any good thoughts to spare I'd appreciate it.

Last night Eric & I went on a date. We had a nice dinner together and then saw Harry Potter. I had already seen it but was so tired the night I did I was up for it again. It just sucked that the theater had the movie in one of the smaller rooms so we were packed like sardines! It felt good to get away from the house for a bit.

Tia- I used to be in to making sure the girls matched before we left the house but have since given up on it for now! I figure they are only little once and if it makes them happy to dress how they want then so be it. Em still allows me to pick out her clothes, though. Mo, on the other hand, well it's a battle not worth fighting.
