DDA Chapter 22

Goodnight Ladies.

We are leaving early in the morning so we're off to bed. Have a great weekend.

Elin, you did a split stay last year, correct? I remember you having decorations for both motifs. :)

DH made a comment about wishing we could go in December, but since his schedule is different now he can't take his days off back to back like he could before. It would be lovely to go in December again. Maybe next year when he has 3 weeks of vacation.

I wish the work day would hurry up and end so I could go home and see Zazu. I also am curious to see how DH has progressed with his packing. :rolleyes1

He was fussing at me this morning because I have too much of my stuff in his quart bag. I told him his deodorant does not need to be in the bag, so it is FINE. I think he doesn't believe me. I suppose if they take away his deodorant he will have to share DS's Axe deodorant. :rotfl:

Elizabeth - we didn't do a split stay last year. We were originally booked at AKL CL but decided on POFQ because of finances. We really had a great time there and the girls and Bob told me today that they don't see any reason to spend more than twice the money on AKL, so we are back at POFQ again this year. One good thing... all the decorations are still packed in my second suitcase!

I think you should give DH is deodorant back. I do think it needs to be in the bag. And you don't need all that stuff, anyway! ;) :rotfl2:

Elin - I'm glad to see that your Christmas plans are coming together.

Elizabeth - I'm not Elin, but she originally had AKL planned last year, but then they changed their plans and spent the whole trip at POFQ, I believe. It was the whole economy thing. Hard to believe that this has been going on almost a whole year.

::yes:: and the AP rate was only $124 a night! That was such a great break on the cost. Things are somewhat better this year (right now, anyway) but we decided to take the money saved and book an extravagant dinner. I know you are all surprised by that... :teeth:

Well, I have suddenly crashed into a wall labelled "tired". No need to wake early in the morning that I can think of so that's good. Just have to take Phil to work at 9. Then, tomorrow night we're headed to see The Music Man at the Muny. Should be a good show and we know a couple of the kids involved so that's always neat.

Have a good night everyone!

Bernadette - Even on a relaxed trip you should not be naked. YOU MUST PACK!!! :scared1:
:rotfl2:Well.....I do find doing laundry rather relaxing on vacation so I don't have to pack too much AND....I have laundry soap & deodorant in my Owner's Locker.

I just want to make a couple of things before I pack.....

Thank you for all the birthday wishes everyone! We've celebrated starting at 10pm last night - I was up late reading kinda half sitting in bed and my book is resting on my belly and suddenly it starts moving...someone had the hiccups! First time it was really noticable and must have gone on for about 5 minutes. Really really neat. Then at 5AM someone decides to attempt to stand up in my uterus. I was getting punched on both sides and it even woke Bob up. He just laughed at me. Work had an ice cream cake log for us and now I'm home relaxing. (Hoping for socks for my birthday!) :teeth:
Lizzy had hiccups all the time-even during birth. She had them a lot as an infant too.

Bernadette - I'm glad you had a fun time. WTG, Joe. I've never gotten 3 holes in one in one game ever!
He was really good. He'd be unbeatable if he'd just slow down-if he didn't get it in just 1 or 2 shots he was about 10 or 15. Of course Emma was crying at the end because she didn't get any holes in one and Lizzy was complaining about how unfair it was because she was older. Lizzy did beat Joe overall. We didn't add up the scores but I'm pretty sure my SIL Gail won. I think Gene got 3 hole in ones too but not on the 18th. Gail only got one but she gots lots of holes in just 2 shots.

Good morning. :)

Elin - did you know that you can make ADRs for Kouzzina today?

Bernadette you are to dang busy at work, I say just skip making anything this trip.

Elin picking POFQ for your entire Christmas stay is good. :thumbsup2

Now convince me that staying BLT, will be just as nice.

Elizabeth will there be any pin trading this trip?

Deb and family have a nice time.

We've decided not to go to Santa's Village today. The weather forecast changed from a potential storm at 10 AM to heavy rains through 2 PM :sad2: No point in driving all that way to stand in the rain. Most things would be closed anyway. I'll have to plan to get the boys there another day. We will still be going camping this weekend, but we won't be leaving until Chris gets out at 5 PM. I guess I now have plenty of time to clean my house.:thumbsup2

Elizabeth will there be any pin trading this trip?

Some. We are each going to bring a small bag with about 50 pins. We aren't going to wear the lanyards every day, though.

Chanon - I am glad you are enjoying the baby's antics! :goodvibes

Elin - I think you will LOVE dinner at V&A!
DH's deodorant isn't liquid or aerosol, so there is no reason it should have to be in the quart bag. Mine isn't in my quart bag, and neither is DS's. DH just likes to start trouble. ;)

Bernadette - We bought those Purex 3-in-1 sheets for laundry. Guess we'll see how it goes! Good luck getting you creations finished! :wizard:

Zazu is doing pretty well - he is eating, drinking, using his litter. Arabella is still being horrible to him. DH said it is like she completely forgot Zazu in the 24 hours he was gone. I have been holding him and petting him to try to get my scent on him, but she hisses and runs if he gets within 6 feet of her! I expected her to hiss when he FIRST came home, but now her behavior seems kind of odd. They played together ALL the time, so I hope she gets used to him again soon.

Elin - did you know that you can make ADRs for Kouzzina today?

::yes:: but, thanks! I am headed over that direction after I catch up here. I had NINETY TWO (yes, I am yelling) emails to deal with and have been at it for over 2 hours. What a waste of a perfectly good morning... :rotfl2:

Our school is closed next week so I suppose I am "officially" on vacation. However, I have about 20 compositions from the last two weeks to finish up before I feel like there is nothing hanging over my head. I also finished up my class schedule for fall and will start on private lesson scheduling this coming week too. So... I guess that means I am having my own little version of a staycation! ;)

Good morning!
Yesterday was so much fun at the shore--it rained ALL day long, but itw as nice sitting with my four closest friends at work--we chatted for hours and didnt realize it had gotten to be 8:00--We had over an hour drive home to my house and one of the teachers had an hour ride from my house! But it was a great day

Today,I have alot of errands and running around to do..TGIF :)
