Love the pictures Deb & yes all of your boys are growing! Riley turned 13 in Aug. but he hasn't really had a big growth spurt yet. Garrett keeps telling me he is done growing

I'm not on vacation anymore.

I think the responsible thing to do is to cancel my party this weekend. My DGS has pneumonia. My DD is really sick. I think I was in Disney during their incubation period. But I think it wouldn't be fair to my guests if I was wrong and everyone got sick. I feel as if my home is a Petri dish.

How would you feel if you went to someone's house and in these H1N1 times their family was sick? Coughing so much they sound like barking dogs!?

I'm exhausted. I'm going to bed.

So sorry you have sickies. I would want you to cancel if I was an attendee.

Good Morning DDA!!!

Well in a week or two, I had been hoping to announce I was going to be a grandma again. But it seems that it is not to happen now. My DDIL started bleeding Monday night and went to the Dr yesterday. She has a blighted ovum and she miscarried. They are doing a D & C today. Thankfully Howie was able to get off from teaching and take her. Yesterday was their 8th wedding anniversary and she was so devastated when she had to tell him.
Between her and Guenna they have had their share of these.

So sorry.

Good morning, everyone! I'm home with 2 kids today, instead of just one. Leslie came home from school yesterday in tears. Her teacher told her she can't come to school anymore until her cough is gone. Well, that could be never! She has a seasonal cough that arrives every Fall and Spring. It's frustrating, but not contagious! It really hurt Leslie to have the teacher tell her she can't come to school. I think it's time to go to the doctor and have him give her an inhaler for these coughs.

What's really frustrating, is that I sat with the teacher before school started to let her know that Leslie has already had swine flu, and that she has weak lungs that results in a cough that is not contagious every fall and spring. She thanked me for telling her, and I thought she was ok with it. Apparently not! I am waiting for the principal to call me this morning and talk to me about what we can do.

Timothy was up in the night with a fever, but it seems to be gone, now! Hooray! We'll see how things go today!

YIKES! That seems a bit too extreem. Poor Leslie. How frustrating for you!

Good Morning DDA!!!

Did you guys see in the mousesavers newsletter yesterday that Disney cruises is planning an Alaska itinerary for 2011. I want to go to Alaska one day. I might have to think about this just a little. As I have no clue how much cruises cost or what decks to do etc.

Now that would be cool. That is the one place that Chuck and I want to cruise.

We're already booked at RPR for the first few days of August next summer. I'm looking forwart to checking out HP World. We're planning on SW later that week, but I haven't bit the bullet to buy tickets yet. It is much more expensive than US.

I know. I told Chris I need to buy him a pair of Osh Kosh overalls like he wore when he was little. I don't think he'd go for it though Hunter hasn't changed much physically, he's due for a growth spurt soon. Colby continually grows (he has always been the biggest of the boys at any given age). He is a Tiger cub this year and he is soooo into it. Apparently he already knows way more than the other kids and Chris hasn't really worked with him. Maybe he retained some of it from going to all his brother's meetings

Deb - nice pictures. That place looks A LOT like Great Wolf Lodge. Ours has the same surf type place.

Nicholas has some sort of poison ivy type skin rash. He's been developing it since the weekend and last night I took him to the doctor. She didn't say "poison ivy" but a few of the very small blisters look like what I had last summer. It's weird though. I have NO IDEA where he would have gotten into it. It's on the knuckles of his right hand, a few spots on his arms and legs, and then little teeny red bumps over his extremities. At least it's not itching him too badly. Just more annoying than anything. Now he is on prednisone and zyrtec. I hope he doesn't have the same side effects from the pred. that I had.

Nicholas also got invited to join the robotics club at school. This club is for 4th graders and is part of the accelerated math program. Evidently they will be making and programming robots to do a variety of challenges. Several retired engineers from a local naval base will be assisting the kids. He's excited about it and it sounds like a great learning experience. The club meets once a week after school, so I'm going to need to find a friend that he can go home with until I can pick him up.
