Thanks for all the cute pictures this morning. They made me smile through my yawns.

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

How nice to see lots of kidlet pictures! Thanks, Amy. :goodvibes

Saturday morning I have to make my ADRs for our October trip. I want to make certain I have the numbers covered for those of you who might want to meet for a meal. I may add a person to each of the reservations starting with Sunday in case Kathrin does decide to join us for part of the week.

With the exception of Saturday all day and Sunday at noon we will stay away from the F&W Festival. The locals will overrun the place on the weekends. Let me know if anyone else thinks they might be in the World and wants to eat with us. As I firm up the rest of the plan I will let you know more.

Friday - Chefs de France dinner ~ we are meeting another DISer there that night: Table for 4, please!

Saturday - Tusker House, Flame Tree or Yak & Yeti lunch (tentative and up for discussion) ~ Debbie & Richie: Table for 4

Sunday - Raglan Road dinner: Table for 2

Monday - something with Jennifer & Kyle and the twins (one of these 3 days)

Tuesday - something with Jennifer & Kyle and the twins :upsidedow

Wednesday - something with Jennifer & Kyle and the twins :upsidedow

Thursday - Rose & Crown lunch: Table for 2

Good morning, DDA!!!

Love all of the pictures posted last night. Cute, cute cute.

Just wanted to pop in and catch up before we leave for the zoo this morning. Terra is so excited about feeding the Stingrays, I'm not sure she can stand it. :goodvibes: Now I've got to get some lunches made so we'll be ready when Phil goes to work. Happy Wednesday everyone!

I just read that Captain Sig is supposed to be at the Norway pavilion July 31 - Aug. 2! We missed him last time, so hopefully we will get to meet him this year. I put it on my schedule so I won't forget.

I also think I have decided to do our photo shoot on 8/3 before dinner. Hopefully they will have a slot around 5 PM so we'll have time to finish up and choose our photos and whatever.

NEXT MONTH is our trip! :dance3:

Have fun at the zoo, Tia!

Elizabeth - who is Capt. Sig?

I was just reading Jack Spence's blog about the Pirates League. Why do I do these things? :rolleyes1

The captain of the crab fishing boat Northwestern. Don't you watch "Deadliest Catch"?
He and his brother Edgar are sometimes in the Norway pavilion signing autographs.

NO!

I just got rid of my "deadliest catch". Why would I want to see more!? :rotfl:

So Tammi, did you book the pirate thing?

The dessert party review on AllEars is very favorable. I hope the quality stays high over the next few weeks.

I did book the dessert party (the 12th - a surprise for everyone) but won't book the pirate thing until I talk to the kids and see what their interest is.

Are you going to Mickey's Pin Trading Afternoon at the Contemporary on the 15th? I put it on my matrix so I don't forget about it, just in case I have some extra time.

I'm still toying with the idea of Oct. 2-5, but I would be going to the F&WF for a portion of the weekend. :scared:

I'm spending my morning setting up all the kids medical visits for the year :scared: Between dentist, orthodontist, vision, feet it means lots of appointments.

The 15th is our departure day so we won't be doing the pin thing.
Our dessert party is the 13th.

Amy - cute pictures! I can't believe how grown up all the kids are! How fun that y'all got to meet up with Leighanna!

Deb - I'm so glad that Colby is fine! Having just come through the flu, I don't envy anyone sick kids! Good luck with the medical appointments! We just finished up all our dental work until December. Alan told the kids that he'd rather pay them than the dentist, so he offered them 20 dollars every 6 months as long as they don't have any cavities!

Elizabeth - I watched "Deadliest Catch" once, and it made me very nervous! I don't think I could watch it on a regular basis!

Tammi - I hope you get to sneak away for the F&WF. How fun would that be?

Elin - I wish I could holler to put me and Alan down for a dinner, but we'll (or at least I'll) be thinking about you! Sounds like you have a fun time planned!

Good morning, everyone! I'm off to start my crazy busy day! First off is changing the laundry and folding. That's my least favorite thing! While I'm doing that, I need to get the kids to clean out the car. If they can get that done, I'll treat them all to a trip to the library and possibly some gelato! Make it a great day, everyone!
