Deb - I hope you feel better soon and the job situation is improved too.

FYI - online booking for ADRs is up and running. DVC ressie numbers apparently were not working this morning, though.

Tammi-tell the kids I said happy last day of school :)

My kids did GREAT with their show today--i was so proud. I had parents coming up to me and hugging me telling me how great I did this year :goodvibes:

Tomorrow is my last day and i just cannot wait!!!

princess:princess:Happy Birthday Avery & Elise!!!princess:princess:

Chanon love the invite!

Deb-:wizard:Hope you feel better and work improves!

Elizabeth-:wizard:goodluck with your new purchase!

I took Claritin D this morning and am feeling all loopy. My allergies have been really bad so I'm going try to keep it up a few days in the hopes that I'll get used to it. So my brain function isn't too great......

I tried online ADR today. I asked for 11:00 am 1900 Park Fare. It offered 11:10ish Chef Mickey's, 11:00 Grand Floridian Cafe, 10:30 Grand Floridian Cafe and a few others but not 1900. So I tried 10:30 and it offered me 10:55 1900 Park Fare.:confused3 I didn't actually make the ADR just wanted to see what was there.....

Of course DVC wasn't working! Why would I expect anything more?
I actually had NO CLUE online dining went live today. I talked to IPO this morning but she didn't mention it. :confused3

I think I am glad my ADRs are done.

My 2010 plans are done, too. Not ADRs, but dates and points. :rolleyes1

Did you get the extra 50 points?

So I've read over the letter that came with the AP discount cards and they even have a website www.disneyworld.com/savingscard and I can't find anything that would exclude me from using my own card for a purchase for myself. I wonder if they will give me a hard time at guest relations????

I still am not 100% sure on the August trip yet. Dorinda wants to go but doesn't want to book because she's worried about her Dad. She was going to look into trip insurance for just her flights but I don't know if I want to go with just Emma. I travel the least well with her-I think because she is just like me. It would be nice to have another adult to talk to and stuff.

I have requested that they start the paperwork for my 50 points. The dude covering for our guide seems rather confused on several things so I need to talk to our actual guide.

Nothing Confused Dude said would be a huge problem if it was inaccurate, I just need to know for sure about the drafts and the dues for the '08 and '09 points. We have a dedicated account for DVC drafts so I have to know for sure how much money they are drafting and how many transactions they plan to draft it in.

So tomorrow my Dad has surgery. He will hopefully only be in the hospital for a week.

I also have a work meeting tomorrow.

Sometime I have to take my car to the garage for brakes, and it is recalled. I also will need an oil change soon and an inspection before August.

Happy Birthday Elise and Avery.

Chris and the boys put wood and other supplies in the truck tonight. I had a meeting for the incoming 8th graders for next year. Basically we need to do a lot of fundraising :scared1::headache:

Tomorrow is the last day of school. It looks like Nick got straight A's so my Dad will bring the kids to school and stay for the awards ceremony. Nick doesn't care if anyone goes and Chris and I both need to work since we are off next week, but I'll feel much better having someone there for him. I will make sure that I'm at school to pick the kids up as they have a half day. We'll run home and Nick will just about have time to change his clothes before I have to return him to school for Graduation. Mom will need to pick him up as I have to be at work at 4 tomorrow night. Hopefully life will slow down after tomorrow.

Interesting turn of events...

It turns out that after I left yesterday the Executive Director was FIRED. Nothing that I was complaining about was involved, but it will be interesting to see how things shake up now. All that I know is that it can't get any worse.

Eventually things come back around. Sometimes we aren't there to experience the change but it does happen. Hopefully, that time has come already for you.

We are seeing some of that now. We have been complaining about another area of the department for years. The head of it is called "Teflon Man" because no matter what mistakes the people make under him, nothing sticks to him or his staff. He always somehow gets his crew through it with no bad affects. Well, that is all changing now. He didn't retire soon enough I guess. Their area is under serious fire (legitimately) right now. He has tried to pin it on our area but we successfully deflected that with actual statistics that he couldn't refute. I think maybe he is done trying to pin stuff on us. We were usually the scapegoat he pinned stuff on.

Well, I had a very successful trip to Kohl's. I paid $102 for 3 pairs of dress slacks, 1 pair of casual slacks, 2 pair of jeans, 3 blouses and 12 pair of trouser socks. I had a 30% additional off any purchase coupon.

All the pants were on the 60-80% clearance rack. I paid an average of about $7.50 each for them.

I also found 3 more blouses in the same style as one I bought 6 months ago that I absolutely love. The one I have is a rose color with a princess seam. It is flattering considering I have a flat chest and many blouses don't hang right on me. They were only 33% off but I've been eyeing the green one for months but didn't want to pay full price. I ended up paying $16 each for them. It is well worth it to me. One is a deep purple, the other a deep green and then a plain white one.

I won't be able to buy anything more until Chuck & I sit down and go through the budget. However, I really needed some new dress slacks. I wear the same 4 or 5 pair of pants every single week. I'm worried they are going to wear thin and then I'd have to pay full price for something. I don't like paying full price for anything.

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY TO

good-morning-3.gif

I'm off to work. The boys have their last day of school. They were so excited that they didn't want to go to bed last night.

They had no clue either! :rotfl2:

You are probably right!
I read a post where a DVC member called member services to fuss about her ressie # not owrking, and they told her she was "crazy" - there are NO online ADRs. :scared1:

Still glad mine are finished.

Bernadette - Good luck deciding about August! :wizard:
