Caskbill (Bill Neth) has been a positive force on the DIS for years as part of the Technical Support Team and the DVC Boards. He has developed free software to aid DVC members with their planning and has also written programs to automate processes on the DVC Rent/Trade and Resort Reservtion Availability Boards here on the DIS.

As a memorial tribute to Caskbill, Pete is taking the DIS dark from 5 - 7 pm (EDT) this afternoon.

He was a good friend to many and is greatly missed.

Please join the DIS in honoring his life.

Interesting turn of events...

It turns out that after I left yesterday the Executive Director was FIRED. Nothing that I was complaining about was involved, but it will be interesting to see how things shake up now. All that I know is that it can't get any worse.

Thanks everyone, for the adorable birthday greetings! And thanks, Tom, for the sweet plug! I was pleased with the slideshow, but I know it's kind of long

Other than meeting some friends at an indoor playground, we're having a pretty low-key day here. Hopefully that will equate to getting birthday party pictures up, but I'm pretty behind on everything else too!


And Elin, you're successfully making me turn green with envy!

Why NOT?
I have been putzing around with the idea for awhile. I finally just now phoned our guide. He is on vacation, but the guy covering for him gave me the info and it sounds good to me! If we buy the points now we would basically have another 100 points to work with next summer because we have a December use year. But the banking deadline for '08 points in July 31, AND I need to book our villa for 2010 on July 5, so I need to move FAST to accomplish everything!

I called DH but his phone kept cutting out so he said we will talk later. Grrr. On the other hand, I don't really want to go through this other dude, and our guide won't be back until tomorrow.
