I should look at that! That is a lot cheaper than Poly LVCL! BUT I like the idea of seeing the castle lit up at night from my room!:rolleyes1

How are the lounge offerings at BC? I enjoyed AKL CL but I like the Poly offerings better. Does BC have Krispy Kreme donuts? I might have to switch for that.
They have continental breakfast & yes krispy kremes. During the day they have more in the way of snacks (goldfish, pretzels, & uncrustables, drinks). They had a rotating menu for dinner (ribs one night, pasta another) Cordials & little desserts after dinner until 10pm.

NO! You leave the day we get there. :guilty:
Oh crud!!!:sad2:

I am trying to move my dates more into August but I am only getting BWI or Wilderness Lodge..

For those of you on facebook, my oldest son Howie posted some more pictures of our trip. He has two pictures,,,one of just Hal and I and then one of all of us. I will try to get them to post here too.

Darn we will miss you then. I am still debating on getting an AP in July. aas we are thinking of a trip next May/June as well.

If I am getting Olivia's pass for free but paying for the hopper part do you think I could upgrade hers to an AP
I'm pretty sure you can upgrade it to an AP but I don't think you can use a discount card with the free birthday ticket-only one discount-so the free ticket would be a better deal. BUT....if you think you spend more than $75 on merchandise on your trip you would be better off buying the AP with the 10% discount and then getting her the gift card.

I still have one more card but I also know that Vicki had some (maybe others?) so I think you should give them the chance to give you theirs.

Thanks!
OK...I have to give it some thought. Emma would love the donuts. I like the pineapple bread at Poly. I do love the Poly but Emma would love storm along bay! I would like the BC location-walk/boat to 2 parks but love seeing wishes from the beach and Elec Water Parade and easy escape from MK at night......

OK, so now the Cape May dinner is down to just us, Tammi, and Debbie? Is that right? Party of 9.

Anne Marie & Bernadette - Do you guys want to do a dinner? What night and where? We may be extremely limited with availability. This would be party of 10.

Had to get my notebook out of the car. We are open the nights of 8/3 and 8/8 if either of those works for you. I am going to call IPO and see about adjusting the Cape May ADR so we aren't taking up 10 spaces we don't need.

it sounds like Bernadette and AnneMarie are still sorting out their dates. Maybe you should wait until they have more definite plans :confused3

Hi I am being lazy today. My Mom, Dad and brother headed to Hersheypark. I contemplated going and then decided I did not feel like trudging around.

I survived relay. It went well and we only had a sprinkle of rain.

Fear factor ended up being great.

Round 1: each contestant had to put a live cricket in their mouth and run across the football field

Round 2: They had to eat a cup full of mystery meat. It contained meatballs, hotdogs, relish, fruit, cream de menthe, chipotle seasoning, worcheschire sauce, vinegar, taco seasoning, to name a few things that were in there. I can not remember everything I threw in there. It was nasty looking and smelling. We had several pukers, probably half the contestants so I can only imagine what it tasted like

Round 3: We filled a baby pool with the unused remnants of round 2 plus, got about 50 pounds of random fish parts, from a fish store. Stuff that was past the point they could sell, fish, squid, shucked oysters and clams, just whatever remnants they had from cleaning the fish. We threw in a pile of beads, each contestant was assigned a bead color, they had to find and string 5 beads, to add to the one bead on their string. They had to then tie the strung beads around their neck for a necklace of 6 beads.

Glad all went well with the relay Becky but EWWWWWWWW on the Fear Factor part :sick::sick::sick:

Sounds good! I'll have to figure out if I would be 2 or 3-I make ask someone else to join me.

Ewwwwwwwww.......

Sounds like you're having a well deserved day of rest not being lazy.

Becky - That sounds gross. I am glad everyone had a good time!

Bernadette - I think I read that they don't have the pineapple bread in the Poly lounge anymore. I can see if I can verify that with my friend who works there.

Sorry to be a pain about the cape may dinner...I wish I did not have to reschedule at all.. I was looking forward to the CM dinner & all the other nice ADR's I snagged. I am not sure what I could get at this late stage now.:sad2:

It's not a pain. :)

Bernadette - I have confirmed that there is no pineapple bread in the lounge. Chocolate milk and yogurt are available by request.

Anyone know which CL is better...YC or BWI?

I am searching around the resorts board.

I'll wait to see if you need to rebook before I send it out.

WHAT???????? Krispie Kreme might win out. Why would chocolate & yogurt on request? You would think it would be a bit simular across the board. UGH....what to do? BC for $1,000 less is looking good......

I haven't tried either but BWI always gets very good reviews for its CL service but wouldn't the kids want Stormalong Bay?

How crazy does Stormalong Bay get?
