My Dad, Brother and Chris are working on getting some more wood today...in the rain Chris is not at all happy about that. Unfortunately we are gone the next 2 weekends so they need to work on it, but it is certainly not fun.

I'm working on bringing my summer clothes out, though it isn't warm enough to warrant it. I need to get myself packed for next weeks vacation. The boys are done and Chris is pretty much done. Then I can make a list of things to pick up at the store as well as a grocery list. I need to cook a few things this week to stick in there. I'd rather cook here and just reheat when the time comes since you never know how busy we'll be.

I'm not trying to talk you out of WDW by any means... I just want to make sure you know that the kids won't need passports for Canada if you do make those plans. Also, you can get passport cards which are cheaper and quicker if you don't plan to use passports for anything else.

DH would NEVER go to Canada with the kids without passports. Our passports are expired but still within the renewal limits. He wants to have them just to have them. Not sure how much sense that makes when the kids are only good for 5 years but I'm not going to fight him on that.

I need to get summer clothes out. I did sort through Emma's pants and put all that don't fit her away for my niece. She's gotten so tall. When I was asking her to try things on she kept saying those are too long. She doesn't even realize how tall she is now. She's wearing mostly 7's now.

I should have said the summer code is "only" about $10 more than AP so that might be a good place to start.

I think I have a solution to August Disney trip! You'll all wonder why I didn't think of this earlier! Lizzy really wants to go to a music camp at church and I just found out today it is 7/28 to 7/30. It is 9:00 to 12:00 all days but 9:00 to 2:00 on the 30th when they go to the symphony. We also signed her up for a band summer camp via school that meets 6 Weds around that time-it meets at 2 so she can do both. Joe is too young for the school camp but can go to the church camp and I think he'd enjoy it. Emma is too young for both.

The reservation I booked is 7/29 to 8/5. I asked DH if I could take just Emma. I didn't originally want to do this and leave the others at home to do nothing but now I can leave them at home to do the music camp. DH thought this was a great idea (anything as long as he doesn't have to go!!!).

This will work out well because Emma & I will need AP's for her 7th birthday trip so we'll be able to use the discount card! Emma has been to Disney 7 times while Joe & Lizzy have been 10 times so I won't listen to any complaints from the others about her having 2 trips in a row.

So I would need 6 vacation days to do this trip and would still have 8 more to do a trip DH plans.

I asked DH if I could "justify" staying Poly LVCL with just Emma and he said the others wouldn't really get that it is so much more $$$ than other options. He didn't seem to think I should change resorts. I'll have to think about that.....

There is a different code for CL but that is only good til 8/5. When I booked my Poly room I could have booked BC or GF too but now I don't see my dates available.



Looks like we might be there together. Maybe I should change to BC standard. Emma would LOVE that pool. I didn't book BC before because I thought DH would find Poly more relaxing.

I should look at that! That is a lot cheaper than Poly LVCL! BUT I like the idea of seeing the castle lit up at night from my room!


How are the lounge offerings at BC? I enjoyed AKL CL but I like the Poly offerings better. Does BC have Krispy Kreme donuts? I might have to switch for that.

Darn we will miss you then. I am still debating on getting an AP in July. aas we are thinking of a trip next May/June as well.

If I am getting Olivia's pass for free but paying for the hopper part do you think I could upgrade hers to an AP

I hope so! Dana is waiting for the date to be set for his meeting which is killing me as I do not have time to wait! If I can move the trip up I still have to sorry about getting adr's this late...I am so annoyed at his job right now but what can I do..grrrr.

What are your dates again?
