Today was my Dad's birthday! We have a joint ice cream cake as my birthday is 6 days after his. We will probably go to Red Robin on Sunday to celebrate.

My weekend and week will be spent getting stuff together for Relay. I will be happy when it is Saturday, June 13th around 2pm. Well probably before then as relay is over at noon, but till the clean up happens.

I know I am not around much but I am getting ready for Mark to return (pray it's w/i 36 hrs) and our trip to DL next weekend. I would like to send out postcards to my Disney freaky friends (that would be you all ) I guess I could have said fellow addicts but I no longer have a list of addresses. Hi Paula,,,,it is so good to see your post, Homecomings are nice. i remember those.

I was just telling Stephanie today about the first time Hal came home after being away for three months. I had given birth to Howie two and half months earlier and managed to lose all that weight. Now remember this was 1971 so I was wearing a top that had a zig zag print, white hot pants and white boots. Yes I was. We all wanted to give our guys a good homcoming after being on a sub for two months. I was back to wearing my bikini. That was 38 years ago. My oldest turned 38 today. What memories. Guenna turns 35 on June 11 and on this sunday, Hal and I will be married 40 years. It is hard to imagine all that time has passed.

What a long, but good day! After work, I got some work done and ended up goign back to work for the 5th grade dance so I was there for about an hour. It was kind of funny"chaperoning" my first dance! After that, I was at a friends house for a birthday dinner..we ended upt here til 1am listening to music and playing Apples to Apples..Now im wide awake so im working on lesson plans--i better sleep in tomorrow!!

Why am I up so early??? The dog decided to jump in bed and kick me out! And she refused to get out of bed! Hard to reason with a 100 lb. mass of dead weight! She is getting older and I think the bed must feel better than her lumpy old dog bed! Time to get a new dog bed! On my list of things to look for while I am at IKEA next week!

Kristine, great pictures! Eighth grade?? I don't remember the girls looking so grown up in eighth grade! I guess times are changing!
