Thanks Janet, this has definitely been the worst bout I've ever had with it. I'm glad I went to the doctor before our trip and went armed with meds, our trip would have been a complete "bust" without it.

Thanks Heidi! This is a great strawberry festival. They even tint the town fountain pink! Lots and lots of craft vendors and entertainment too!

Get ready for too much cuteness!
Kittens are four weeks old today, and have started to eat kitten food. I am sure momma cat is very greatful for that!
You can see the "runt" at the far left. He is so much smaller than the rest, but is very feisty! Cute little guy!
Basket full of kittens! Soon they won't all fit!
Playing in their box.
"Octomom" taking a break!

Good morning!!!!! 
The sun is finally shining here, after 5 days of rain!
Nicholas has an appt. this morning with his allergist. Just a checkup to see how the inhaler is working and to get the prescription refilled. Then we need to stop at the library and pick up some book that we have on hold. Gotta love those summer reading lists! I think we also need to stop at either walmart or target too. After all the running around we will go to the pool!

I will be testing a new pattern this week too.
Here is a prototype that was sent by the pattern writer. The fabric is by Jennifer Paganelli. We will be using her fabrics for the test samples.
Angie will finally be getting something made by me to wear! She is happy about that!

Oh my goodness, how cute
A lot of them have the same coloring as their momma! Thank goodness I do not live close to you, kittens just melt my heart & 3 are enough for me lolI am sure you won't have problems finding them good, loving homes!

I don't know what to do about summer reading for DS. His school doesn't have summer reading lists. I usually pull titles fromt he private school lists (those are on file at the library) but now those books are getting pretty boring/complicated. Without having a classroom discussion about the content I don't know that those are really the best use of his time.
Not sure what's on the agenda for us today. DS wanted to go to the pool yesterday, but "our" pool was full of drunks.
(At 2 PM on a Friday!) I think we will be using Princess's pool the majority of the summer!

Yep...times have changed. I was thinking of my 8th grade dance...and for whatever reason I can still remember the dress...long sleeve, lacy number with a high neck and below the knee

It's been awhile since I ranted about my mother. 
She bought a house. A house she couldn't qualify to mortgage, so she borrowed money from a relative to make up the difference.
The house has a basement. Mom couldn't live in an apartment with 3 or 4 EXTERIOR stairs because she supposedly has arthritis in her knee. There was NO WAY she could go down 4 stairs to go in and out. That was just WAY too many stairs to consider. So NOW she will be going up and down an entire FLIGHT of stairs to get to her washer and dryer!
The house does not have a stove or a fridge. Diva has been out shopping for new bedroom furniture and whining about paint colors.
The movers were supposed to come to the apartment yesterday, so they are nowhere near actually being settled in the new house. Yet what does Diva do on Thursday? She goes and gets a DOG!!!
I am so angry there is no way I could have a civil conversation with Mom. DS called her last night. The dog is NOT HOUSEBROKEN!
DS is fuzzy on the details, but he thinks it might be a weenie dog. Landon, my hairdresser, has weenie dogs. After one of his passed away he REALLY thought hard about getting a puppy (his friend's mama dog had a small litter of pups) because he said they are notoriously hard to housetrain.
Let's remember that Diva isn't working. All she does is sleep and whine. There is no way she will help with that house, or that dog, or anything else. Makes me ill.
