Well, I definitely got some rest today.
I also managed to get the vacation laundry done, and spent hours working on my photopass projects.

So I am now on two new meds for allergies. In addition to my other meds. Hopefully it will help me feel better.

I voted several times today on different computers, plus added it to Facebook.

I need to get to bed. I have to meet some co-workers at 7:15am to head to our work meeting.

Becky and I went out to dinner and then to see "UP!" It was a good show. We enjoyed it.

We have been having horrific storms all evening and my dog is freaking out. I decided to get back on the computer rather than have her sitting on my head in bed. She weighs 36 pounds!

Deb - that is a great picture.

Elin - did you get any sleep? All I did was listen to thunder and rain pelting against my windows. Plus I had both kids in bed with me, who I don't think heard a thing. If they are sleeping when the storms start they are fine, but if it's storming when they are TRYING to get to sleep, fuggeddaboudit.

Good morning, DDA! Today is the LAST day of school!! DS gets out at 10:20. My car is going in for service so they BETTER have a loan car for me. If not, I will be throwing a royal rage. I made it VERY CLEAR on the phone that I have to have a loan car since they won't be finished with my car in time for me to get DS.

He had a "drum off" with the percussion instructor yesterday. He was all sweaty when he got in the car. He looked more like he had been running laps than drumming. He told the band director I want him to audition for the Arts high school. OF COURSE the band director wants him to go to the plain high school. Um, hello? If he can get into the Arts high school, he is going. No thugs at the Arts high school. No sports teams. Just music, dance, art, and theater. ALL by audition only. That would be a FABULOUS fit for him since all he cares about is drumming. The academics there are VERY good, too!

He is going to a party tonight from 7-11 PM. Can't believe that mom is hosting another party. Bless her heart. She hosted the big Halloween party. I figured that would have been enough for her.

Good morning.

Storms came through here too about 4:30-5:00am. Boy the lightening was scary. The kids however did not hear a thing. I woke at 4:30 & just couldn't go back to sleep...

Daniel will be 10 tomorrow. He is so excited & is actually counting down the hours until he enters double digits. I cannot believe how fast 10 years has gone. I asked him what he would like for a special dinner & he asked for penne ala vodka...It's not really "ala vodka"..I take alfredo sauce & add a small can of tomato paste to make a pink sauce..the kids gobble it up.

Saturday we are taking him & 5 of his friends to see Up & dinner at Friendly's. Sunday is the family party...which will be the last "event" we are hosting in this house.

I 've found out that you can't vote more than once in a 24 hr period. It's not just once a day, you actually have to wait for 24 hours to pass until you can vote again.

I got my Disney Rewards Newsletter and there was a code for 15% off any PhotoPass online order. I just pre-ordered my CD for only $84.96. The code is 9VISARD15 if anyone is interested. It doesn't state that you have to use your Reward Visa to use the code, like a lot of those coupons in the newsletter do. I hope someone is able to use it!
