I have to teach for a couple of hours this morning and then... who knows? Where did spring go??? It feels like summer has jumped up and slapped me in the face!

Glynis, I am sure Timothy will adjust to his crib just fine! Hang in there! :wizard:
This is why I never put my kids in anything but their crib to sleep. I didn't want to have to go through the re-adjustment. But, of course, I think Jennifers girls have pretty much always been in their cribs (at least for quite some time) so that really doesn't back up my argument, does it? :confused3

Keep your chin up, Glynis! :wizard:

Good morning. :)

I would so much like to hang out at the pool all day, but Bob has this crazy idea to go to an air show, and being the good little girlfriend, I agreed to go. This does not excite me at ALL! But it's an attempt to keep the peace and harmony.

Enjoy your peaceful, harmonious air show. :rolleyes1

Im actually kinda bummed that the base near my house is not having an air show this year! Hope you have some fun..

Good morning all! Gotta love long weekends! I think the pool will be calling my name shortly!

I have to decide what to do today. DH is off.

I need to take some sandals back to Nordstrom because they are too small for DS. I need to ship a jacket back to Amazon because it is too small for DS. (See a pattern here?)

I want to get a pedicure.

Before I go to Nordstrom I need to try on the tankini bottoms I bought with the top I already have and see if they will work together. If not, I need to take those back.

I need to make a list of all the stuff I need to do while I am off. The car needs scheduled maintenance, I need to have the carpet cleaned, I want to go give blood, I'm sure there are things I am forgetting.

I tried to sleep in this morning though I'm not sure I'd call it sleep as much as lounging in bed. Chris got up to go to work, then Colby was up, then Colby had a bloody nose. Oh well, at least I slept past 7 :cool1: I'm thankful that the fishing derby is not this morning as it is raining. I hate fishing in the rain. The weather is supposed to be much nicer the rest of the weekend.

I think that I'm going to try to Spring clean the camper tomorrow or Monday. Our trip is less than a month away and I haven't even thought about it. We shouldn't need much more than athletic clothes and swimwear so it shouldn't be too hard to get it together. Of course I haven't pulled out the boys summer stuff yet so I have no idea what will fit. They each have a few new things that I bought on clearance last year that they've been wearing so at least they won't be nakey.

Tia I hope your allergies do not bother you to badly :wizard:

Theresa glad all went well at the graduation today, enjoy the party tomorrow!

Speaking of 1st loves, the girl that is supposedly not Garretts girlfriend(the one that he has know for a few years & went to Sweetheart Swirl with)told him that she loves him  This sorta freaked Garrett out & he backed away from her for a little while(notice I said a little while lol). He told her that he felt they were to young & they will probably want to date others(smart boy, he does listen sometimes). He does want to stay friends with her & at the moment she seems to be content with this.

Thanks. I'm now at a toss up between allergies and head cold since Claratin didn't do a thing and now I'm all stuffed up too.

Garrett's a smart young man! Way to go Mom.

I am having a similar problem....it came up about 3 hours ago....I am hoping it only has 9 more hours.

I am just glad it didn't start during the ceremony (which was actually quite nice). I had my blonde moment of the century today....it didn't occur to me until I sat there for a couple of minutes that I was sitting on the same field 20 years ago....for my graduation. :rotfl:

Cassidy is out with Josh tonight....she is definitely in the throes of first love. :scared: He looked quite handsome today.

Old Navy is having flip flops on sale for $1 tomorrow so we will go pick up quite a few pairs of those and do the fabric thing to them for all of the girls graduation parties she/we have been invited to. (We were pity invited to one tomorrow night...and I am okay with that.:rotfl2:)

I think that's a great idea for gifts. Something fun, but keeps you in budget. I love it! Glad that graduation went well. I hope your headache went away quickly.

Sooo...
DS said he turned in that horrible, sloppy project. THEN he said they had until Tuesday to finish it, but he turned his in anyway! :scared1: THEN he said no, he didn't really turn it in, he doesn't know why he said he did. :sad2: So he has the weekend to re-do it and make it look nice.

He wants to take drum lessons. I told him I am fine with lessons, but the teacher HAS to understand that we are NOT buying a drum set. If that is OK, then he can have lessons. Maybe. Not sure how much we are talking about as far as cost. He said he wuld prefer to have drum lessons in the Fall instead of doing Theater.

Good luck with both! I hope you can find someone to teach without requiring a drum set.

Here too! Yesterday was crazy hot. Good weekend for opening pools, I guess.

Good morning, DDA!

Gotta head to the showers in a few minutes so I'll be ready to take Terra to her party soon, but needed some quick prayers.

Terra hurt two toes jumping into the pool yesterday. I can't quite figure out what happened, but I think they just hit the bottom of the pool wrong. I figured they would be better this morning, but she still can't bear any weight on them and I can't put her sneakers on without pain. We've gone the Motrin and ice route, but the doctor wants us at Urgent Care if she still can't put weight on them in and hour or so. So, if by party time she still can't walk at all, I guess we're going straight from there to Urgent Care. I really don't want to have to do that since I can't see any issue (no bruising, swelling, redness, etc) and I don't think there's much they can do for toes, but at the same time I hate that she's crying about not being able to walk. "I want to walk again, Mommy." :sad1:

Hopefully, this will do the trick

I don't think I am digging these tooth "whitening trays" I bought at Target. I should have read some reviews before I bought them. They look like they are made of very thin styrofoam. Talk about hard to keep in place!!! :scared:

The orthodontist sells Crest strips that are professional strength so I may go buy a box of those.

I'm not liking the Port of Miami parking situation. They charge $20 per day for parking at the port. I'm told you pay for 8 days when taking a 7 day cruise. That means $160 to park. I was looking for a park and sail (think parkandfly) but I'm not seeing anything. It appears that most hotels charge for parking and I can't find any free shuttles :confused3 Plus we'll need 2 rooms since there are 7 of us. Our plan was to leave WDW on the afternoon of July 23, drive to Miami, check into a hotel for a good nights sleep then take a shuttle to the port. It sounded good in my head.
