Thanks again for help with the California Grill, we will be doing it this trip.

I wanna crash Elin's trip next year. ;) Elin do you have your dates yet?

School's Out for Summer!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

This morning is LHS's graduation ceremony so I will be going to make sure Josh has somebody in the audience for him. :goodvibes In fact I better get off and get dressed and outta here for that!!:rotfl2:

I got some wonderful news today. I just hope it holds true and the bottom doesn't fall out before it comes to fruition.

After the appraisal came in way to low for me to buy ex out, I figured what the heck and tried another mortgage company. This time I went with a broker. They ordered a new appraisal and this one came in $105,000 higher than the one the Chevy Chase Bank did. Which means I can buy him out, pay him off, pay off our DVC (and own it outright) plus still have a lot of equity left in the house. Plus I even got a lower interest rate. All the paperwork is done and the loan application is going through underwriting.

This is fabulous! What a great thing for you and the kids!!! Pixie dust being sent that it all happens, and the bottom does not fall!

Oh & Katie has informed me that she will not wear matching shirts at all this year. However she will wear disney shirts but she just doesn't want to match her brother & sister so I guess thats not all bad.

You are too good to her. I would have told her that she's going to look funny with no shirt at all :rotfl: Matching or nothing baby:rotfl:

I think that I may actually get that ticker that I have been searching for. Not to Disney this year :sad2:, but I think that we may take a few days on Hilton Head after the drive to Nationals with perhaps a night in Savannah as well. My mother is looking into offering us some of their time share points to help us out. It will be a nice, little family vacation. I still have to work out all the details, though.

Thanks for the well wishes on the trip, I think we've started a new tradition, bad weather and some form of illness.

Out of the blue my sinuses decided to become infected and of course that's causing problems with the asthma, luckily I was able to get in to see my Dr. this morning and received a lovely shot, some antibiotics, and a new med for my nebulier, I'm hoping to nip it in the bud, as today and tomorrow are just travel, and groceries.

I'm packing up the computer after this post, I hope to do a fairly regular update on the trip report, and post pictures on Facebook for my daughter.

See you later!

Actually Ann Marie is being smart she is picking her battles and clothes usually are not something to argue over unless they are inappropriate.

Debbie,
Have a wonderful trip!!!

Elizabeth,
I feel the same way with Katie. I do always end up helping her somehow.
:headache:

As Princess and I were eating breakfast with our friends I realized DS didn't bring his service project poster with him this morning! :headache: So off we went to our house to get the poster, then to school to drop it off. Of course DS was at lunch. So we went to see if the science teacher was in her room - figured I would leave it for him. Nope. She wasn't there. So I went to see if his Language Arts teacher was in her room. Nope. Sub in there. So I went to see if the Reading teacher was in her room, because she is the one the project is for. BINGO! So we gave her the poster and told her I wasn't even sure if DS knew he forgot it, because he hadn't called in a panic. As we were walking back out the science teacher was back in her room, so I stopped to ask her if she would tell DS I had given his poster to the Reading teacher. By then lunch was over and DS came back, so he knows I turned it in for him. He said "Oh, I was going to call you." Really? Because it is Princess's nap time. Had he waited to call I would have been very angry.

The project he put NO effort into is some sort of ABC booklet of words he has learned as a 7th grader. One letter per page, text, graphics, and color on EVERY page. :scared1: Also must have a cover page and some sort of conclusion page that summarizes his year. When he got home yesterday he was on letter "E". When he left this morning he was on "W". It is due today. The pages he did last night are PITIFUL. All scraggly and slipshod and NOT colored, he is going to get a HORRIBLE grade. He should have shown the paper to me when she handed them out. It is a complete grading explanation, detailed info on how the project needs to be done, etc. He just blew it. He ignored the project and never once mentioned to me that it was a HUGE portion of his grade. Bonehead. :sad2:

Oh, I returned those bras at Victoria's Secret today. They wanted me to buy more. Um, NO, they don't FIT! So the girl measured me. And told me I wear the size I was returning! :rotfl2: NO, I do NOT wear that size! Nice try, though!

Debbie I hope the medicine helps you feel better quickly :wizard:

Beth have fun planning your summer get a way!

Anne Marie enjoy your alone time with Daniel :goodvibes

Elizabeth, Garrett & Riley have both in the past waited till the last minute to let me know about a project that needed to be done. Very frustrating to say the least. Hopefully ds will still get a decent grade!

Theresa we have till June 4th before school is out here, I am so ready!

Deb & Becky, how are you both feeling? Much better I hope!

Anyone heard from Lindsay or Marci lately?

The boards are loading very slowly for me, anyone else?

Well, we had a really good night with Timothy last night. We moved him into his crib in Jacob's room. I had to let him cry it out, but it didn't last as long as I though it would. He ended up sleeping from 10:00 to 1:30. I nursed him then, and he slept from 2:00 until 7:30. Hooray! Hopefully, this will keep up, and make our California trip much more pleasant for everyone!

Debbie - I hope your trip is wonderful!

Anne Marie - My Katie is at the same place yours is. She is ok with wearing the group shirt, and the one for Grandpa's Christmas picture, but other than that, she wants to pick her own stuff now. Fine with me!

Deb - Your cruise vacation sounds so fun! I can't wait to hear all the details.

Elizabeth - Sorry your son left the project till the last minute. Hopefully, he'll learn from it, and not get too bad a grade! It's aggravating for the parent, huh?

Beth - Congrats on a Hilton Head vacation. Sounds like a lovely get away for your family.

I'm off to do some more packing! Be back later!

Good afternoon, DDA!

I have allergies or something messing with my head today so I'm a big foggy. From what I can remember though...

Debbie - Have a great trip!!! Can't wait to hear how the surprise goes.

Tammi - Great news on the house!!!

Elin - Hope you have a safe drive back today.

Heidi - I'd definitely try Chef Mickey's at least once.

Elizabeth - Sorry that DS isn't going to fare well on the project, but I agree with you...it's a lesson he needs to learn.

Glynis - Congrats to Katie! That is great!!

Beth - Happy belated birthday!!

Becky - I hope you're feeling better soon.

Jennifer - Enjoy your long weekend.

Terra and I are headed to a "field trip" (as she says) to the indoor pool in a few minutes. She's been dying to go and we can finally make it work today. After that, who knows. I think we're headed to the Greek festival sometime this weekend, helping dad get our pool opened up tomorrow, Terra has a birthday party in the morning and probably at least half a dozen other things that I'm not thinking of.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Oh, I returned those bras at Victoria's Secret today. They wanted me to buy more. Um, NO, they don't FIT! So the girl measured me. And told me I wear the size I was returning! :rotfl2: NO, I do NOT wear that size! Nice try, though!
Maybe it's a new style and you are supposed to be gushing out all over. ::yes:: ;) :rotfl:

I'm home, but only for a few minutes. It's a good thing I left early because 12 noon traffic was just as bad a rush hour traffic, and it's getting worse by the minute. On the way home I stopped at Target and got some supplies, exchanged a shirt and shorts for Alyssa at Justice, got a pair of capris and flipflops at Kohls, and got the Maxx for the Minimum at TJ Maxx (a new purse I have been eyeing). Then I stopped and got groceries, which I was in dire need of, came home and put everything away. Now I need to go get the kids and take Alyssa to tap.

I am still in summer mode!!!! :sunny:

I am exhausted and hardly did anything today.

I went to the doctor, I have a z-pack so hopefully I will feel better soon. I picked up my drugs.

I did some work, then took a nap. Now I am awake but still tired.

Josh and Kim welcomed baby John yesterday. He weighed 7# 12 oz and was 20 inches long. Perhaps he really is not 3-4 weeks early. Then they rushed Kim for other surgery. Mom and baby are both doing alright.

My Dad's surgery will be on June 17th.

Long weekend!!
tammi, im feeling great today too! I got alot done at work today, came home and went out by the pool for a bit and now relaxing!

I'm glad you are able to make your vacation work. It doesn't matter where you go as long as you get away. Heck we're just camping in Maine this year. We are okay with it as we have 2 big vacations in the works over the next 3 1/2 years. We just need something to work towards :thumbsup2

I'm feeling fine today. Whatever it was, it lasted about 12 hours. The sleep did me a ton of good as I wasn't even tired today at work.

Our weekend plans are forming. Nick's game for tomorrow morning has been cancelled as the opposing team doesn't have enough available players. Chris had decided to work as they are beginning to move into the new building and he'd like to be up and running on Tuesday. We thought that there was a fishing Derby tomorrow morning, but it turns out that it isn't until Sunday which means that Chris can go too :cool1: That sounds much better to me as trying to keep 3 kids lines untangled etc is a bit much for just me. So now the boys and I can sleep in tomorrow and I don't have to do anything until work at 3:45. Sunday we'll do the fishing derby and the rest of the weekend appears to be free. I'm sure we'll need to do wood at some point, but we should at least have some free time.
