The problem with the camera is the more I look, the more I can not make up my mind. One day I am sure I want a DSLR, and then chicken out and start looking at bridge cameras again and back and forth. As my brother said just jump and get the DSLR, stop being scared about it. You already probably have 2 lens to use that Dad is not using.

There is also the D5000 that just came out that is a slightly stripped down DSLR version of the D90. But I can find the D90 for just a touch more money. So I still keep going back to I should just get the D90. But never seem to jump to get it.

In either case, I have to get another external hard drive to hold that pics that are more then twice the file size as of my previous camera. So I have also been looking at terrabyte hard drives.

As for Joe being scared of getting stuck on rides, he does not want to talk to me. I have been stuck on a lot of rides.

You don't want another bridge camera, you want the dSLR. I was told that by a lot of people before I bought mine, but I just couldn't spend the extra money. If I had to do it again, I probably would have waited until I could afford the dSLR. (Of course, that may be never, so it's good that I have what I have.)

If I ever get a job with more hours (= more money), that will be one of my first purchases.

Chuck & Becky are talking about going to the movie one night up there and they want me to go to the same movie down here so we can go to the movies "together". We'd call and talk about the movie afterwards.

Thank you! I was so happy that the meet was over and that I didn't have to work. Dh made me filet mignon, potatoes au gratin, asparagus, and a lemon meringue pie for dessert. He cleaned up the kitchen, too. He's not so great with gifts, but he does a great job of spoiling me!

Lizzy's birthday is Friday. How can she be 10? I think all 3 will be in the Memorial Day parade but I haven't heard from any leaders yet.

That's how I felt about Miles' 10th, too. It seems like he was just born. For some reason, I never realized how close in age Miles and Lizzy are. I had a six day old baby when you were having her.

We had to be up early this morning, because Matthew is going to the City with the drama club. They are going to see Phantom of the Opera. The last time they went to do that, was the day that they called the strike. The kids were all on the bus most of the way there, so they went and had a mostly free day.

While putting dishes away from the dish strainer, dh somehow knocked three (of my five) mixing bowls to the ground, and they all shattered. I guess I know what I'm getting for our anniversary next week.

Today is end-of-the-year family picnic at preschool. The weather is supposed to be just about perfect. Preschool graduation is tonight, but I can't go, because Miles has an orchestra/chorus concert tonight. I don't teach the 4's anymore, so I don't really need to be there, but I was planning to go until they scheduled it during the concert.
