She wanted to go outside and play...

I didn't notice the time when I saw this the first time. Didn't realize it until I saw Tammi's post. :lmao: I'm not sure I'd think it was cute at 4am. :rotfl:

Well the phillies won so im headed to bed!
Tomrorow I have a crazy day at work, drs appointments, then my brother's softball game..and hopefully getting stuff ready for mom's surgery...ill be glad when its the weekend :)

Have a great night all

Good morning....I am so mad at myself. When we went to the beach on sunday it was so foggy you couldn't see more than 50 feet ahead of you, it was cloudy with a chance of rain & cold. So I did not slather up my kids as I usually do with sunscreen..I am so anal about sunscreen that I normally follow them around the beach reapplying while they are playing, after they eat & after they get out of the water...well for some reason I assumed that since it was so overcast & cold that they did not need it...WRONG!!! All 3 of my babies are burnt to a crisp & hurtin'...& I feel awful. :headache::headache::headache: They have never had a sunburn before let alone ones this bad.

Poor babies!

Thanks! I have been looking on there. I just can't seem to decide exactly which ones I want, or how much i want to pay, or if I want to order wide or medium, 8 or 8.5. I tried on the ones I thought I wanted at DSW and I didn't love them. The ones at Rack fit pretty well, but they are almost suede looking. The real problem here is that I do NOT need more shoes. :rotfl2:

So I told DH I wasn't up for a long road trip. In the past when we've gone to Atlantic Canada-we've been at least 5 times-we've always driven at least 3,000 miles. I just don't see that as fun with the kids yet.

He said we should still get passports to have them. I'm OK with that and he was interested at looking into Niagra Falls but the kids would probably have a good time just going to the White Mountains.

He didn't say no to a week at Disney. I did find "reasonable" airfare for lots of dates. I also found a few rooms at summer rates. I did find a few discounted rooms-all star music family suite, BC/YC or GF club level, AKV-1 BR Jambo. I wonder if DH would like AKL-something new for him. He doesn't like the idea of DVC because he says he doesn't want to cook but just having the extra room would be nice. We did use the kitchenette in the suite last year so we would use the kitchen in a villa. I want the washer/dryer.

A week at WDW would be LOVELY. In fact, I know someone who will be at AKL/V in August! ;) If we stayed in a one bedroom I would not use the stove, but having a big fridge would be handy. And the washer and dryer would be handy, too! :thumbsup2

I had seen the commercials for those Purex laundry sheets but hadn't thought about them for WDW. MUCH easier than lugging Tide and Downy for DH's laundry!

The 1BR villa (Savannah view) is about $1,000 more than ASMu family suite but can they really be compared? I think the kids would flip for the pool at Kindani. I could get BC/YC CL for just a few hundred more than ASMu or GF CL for a few hundred more than those-all CL would be less than 1BR. My top choice would probably be BC CL but I don't think DH would like BC. BUT...I don't know if he would really like AKL either. He wants quiet, forget he's at WDW.

I did see that the treehouse had availability but didn't check to see if at a discount and the rack rate was pretty high.

I already have laundry soap and dryer sheets in my Owner's Locker.

I really should go to bed. I have to bring Lizzy to band in the morning then I have a doctor's appointment.:scared: I'll work for a few hours but then I'm leaving early to bring Lizzy & her best friend to the American Girl Doll store for a hair do class.

Thanks everyone for your comments on the boxes, they were fun to do. I just hope she will like the patterns I chose. I know she will but I stress anyhow!!!!

I guess I've gotta get this day started if I want to see it end :upsidedow

Have a great day.

Hi Debbie! How was it? Was the VIP tour worth is? How are you feeling today?

:wave2: Hi, Everyone!

Deb - I am glad you were able to get Hunter in to see the doctor today. Sounds like a good plan is in the works to stave off any majoe episodes. I hope it really helps him feel beter.

Debbie - How did you like the VIP tour at Sea Word?

The VIP tour was nice, it was great to have reserved seats at all the shows, Blue Horizons, Clyde and Seymour, and Believe. They were great seats, Dining with Shamu was fun and the buffet had a good variety. With the heat I was starting to feel really bad, but then a storm blew up during Believe and cooled things off big time, this actually helped a lot. Our guide rovided us with ponchos when the rain started, so if you add up the individual costs of all the components the price wasn't that expensive.

Oh, I'm sorry you guys are getting bad weather too.

We're only having afternoon showers so far, yesterday was the first day we actually got caught in it.

Thank you for all your good thoughts. We were able to get Hunter in to see a doctor at 8 AM. He hadn't eaten or had anything to drink so it was the best time to go. She did a quick glucose test and checked his urine for glucose. His fasting glucose level was within the normal limits and there was no glucose in his urine. That plus the previous blood panels make the doctor confident that he does not have diabetes. She listen to our concerns and gave him a thorough workup. She agrees that he is hypoglycemic, but thinks that that is the problem, she's confident that he has no underlying disease. I'm sure I approached it from every angle just to make sure. For now we are making sure that he eats every 2 hours and he will go to the school nurse once in the afternoon for a snack as he eats lunch at 11:40 and doesn't get home until 3. Hopefully this will help him maintain his glucose levels and stop the plummeting that has been happening. We are supposed to log any episodes that he has in the future. We also discussed his low weight and from a medical standpoint they feel (this is the 4th doctor I've asked) that he is at his perfect weight. He has been on the same growth curve for years now.

Thanks again for your support. Hopefully we can regulate this without too much trouble now that we recognize the problem.

I'm glad that you have it figured out and are reassured that it isn't serious! It sounds like you have a good plan in place, too.

I think Laura was having a little trouble with low blood sugar yesterday. She went straight from school to synchro practice. She came home crying hysterically about never going to practice again and how she was going to fail every single one of her finals. She couldn't pull herself together and was just sobbing. I got her to eat a little fruit and then dinner, and she was completely changed. Still stressed about practice and finals, but reasonable and calmer again. The team mother asked us all for money and brings snack for everyone. Yesterday she brought pudding, and Laura doesn't like pudding. I'll make sure she has her own snack now, too.

Although I had 2 recitals two weeks ago, the majority of them start tonight. Between now and June 7, I will do 20 recitals. The most fun for me will be the three we have this weekend. We are featuring 9 graduating seniors! That is the most we have ever had in one year. Four of my "stable of boys," as one Mom calls them (including Patrick :(), will perform this weekend. I got them what I think is a really nice gift and when I have the time I will take pictures to show you all. :teeth:

Arabella steals bags of bread and buns out of the kitchen. She isn't demented, she is just naughty.

I thought my two cats were the only ones to steal bread and buns. They will pull the bags off the counter and rip everything apart. I don't know how much they actually eat. So, now we have to make sure that all bread/buns are secure in a cupboard.

So I told DH I wasn't up for a long road trip. In the past when we've gone to Atlantic Canada-we've been at least 5 times-we've always driven at least 3,000 miles. I just don't see that as fun with the kids yet.

Good luck! It sounds like Disney could be a winner!
