Did everyone get the email from Southwest. Apparently they are having an every city on sale sale. Fares valid Sept 9 - Nov 18 but does not include travel on Fridays or Sundays. We aren't travelling, but it's the best deal I've seen in awhile, at least from our home airport.

I got the email too, but it didn't have very good fares from our area. ((sigh))

We were going to drive in October but now the SW fare is $60 on the trip down..not a good a price for the fare home...not sure if I should just book the one way trip going now.

You could do that, but I haven't been having luck with southwest fares lately. not that we're going anywhere, but I still watch. We used to be able to fly for $120 round trip and lately $180 is the cheapest I've seen.

I'm sure that you could still drive for less than $520 and that is if you can get $60 airfare home. You'd also have your car which is another bonus.

We've already decided that we're driving next year since we have to get from Orlando to Miami and back so a rental car in addition to airfare would be ridiculous.

Unless there is some enormous change in the air fares I am finding, I am betting that Bob and I will drive to WDW in December. The girls will fly because they have limited time, but we have the luxury of being able to take our time that trip. I know we can do it cheaper than the SW fares of $500 for the two of us.

Hi, Debbie! I got an ADR for Tusker House for October 3. I can't wait to meet you!

Hunter and I just went shopping. We went into Kohls looking for longer shorts for him for next year. We walked out with about 10 outfits for each boy Everything we bought was on clearance and I was buying for next summer. Unfortunately the long shorts are just too long on Colby so most of his will be going back. Hunter and Nick are fine. I should be in good shape for next summer unless they have a huge growth spurt and since it was Kohls we can return them next summer if they are too small.

Very true...I think we will probably just drive..we can definately use that money towards something else.

By the way, I made this ridiculously easy pulled pork recipe for Kevin's family last night, and it was delicious!

I used 2 small pork roasts (I can't remember the cut, but it was the netted kind--4 pounds) and a bottle and a half of Montgomery Inn barbeque sauce (a local brand...so good!).

Sounds great, thanks so much for the beautiful e card, hopefully things will calm down around her for a little while at least. I had an appointment with my lung doctor today, things checked out well, he did scold me for going to my primary care doctor instead of him in May as he didn't agree with the meds that she gave me. I have been told to contact him first, so that's what I will do from here on out. When I first started seeing him I couldn't walk across the room without having a horrible coughing spell, now I hardly have any problems with a few exceptions so he obviously knows what he's doing.

I come to you from my newly set up and of so wonderful computer. I am so looking forward to a reliable connection, reliable computer useability and finally being able to work on my own projects (namely photo organization ). Tomorrow's number one goal: mail off the rebate forms! I also need to get this one networked to the printer; maybe go ahead and get the new external drive since I'll be returning the power strip and speakers that I didn't end up needing; and install the rest of my programs. For now, I'm just happy to be set up, online and have the desk reorganized so that Mom/Rachel's computer and my computer can be used at the same time. Happy dance time!

Anne Marie - Glad your making some headway on unpacking.

Amy - Good luck with finalizing all of your party plans for this weekend. May clear skies abound!
