Hi Elin.I am finally home! Is there anything I need to know? I don't think I can go back and catch up this time.

I'm surprised too. My kids brought home a note from the superintendent of schools talking about how proactive the county is being regarding this. No details of what they will do should we have a confirmed case. 2 schools in Maryland are closing for 14 days!here is the email that I just got:
District 64 has been informed by the Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH) that a confirmed case of H1N1 swine flu has been identified in a student at Washington School. On the specific advice from CCDPH, the school will remain open.
This is not my school...but it is our district. About 2 miles away. I am surprised in a way that they are staying open.
We still do not know what is going on with Gary. The scope today showed nothing, which is good. The Dr. ordered a lot of different blood work & he has to take more urine samples in. He said he has 10 times more the amount of protein in his urine than he should, so this is still the Dr's concern. He said that he might have to refer with another specialist to get his opinions. So we wait a while longer, this is getting to be so frustrating![]()
Chuck's mom was transferred to the hospital in Wausau. She still has a fast heartbeat. They are doing more tests. She may need a pacemaker. I hope that this is the end of all her health issues when they get it resolved.

And now I'm really, really late!![]()
Here's a link to Lu in her new glasses. It took us 45 minutes at the office to get them on her and adjusted. The longest we've had them on is about 30 minutes. Her glasses were supposed to be purple but they are on backorder for 2 months, so little yellow duckies it is!
