DDA Chapter 20

Is that every Monday night? We only have 2 more CCD classes and then we might need to check it out.

::yes:: Our entire bill, for 3 major burgers, 3 beers, an order of frites and an extra order of German Potato Salad came to less than $50.

The manager tonight wanted to buy us dessert since we come in almost every week. We were too full! So he came to the table and said to tell our server the next time to come get him if we don't see him when we come in. :goodvibes

The flights I'm watching on Airtran have dropped to 180 r/t, but I don't want to buy until I figure out if I'm going to go down earlier and hit either SW or US. And I won't know that until I hear back from dips**t.

I cannot understand him at all. Jerk.

Time for me to think about bed too. I got the lawn mowed this morning and tomorrow I want to plant all my flowers! Good night, all. :wave2:

Elin and Tammi,

What type of mowers do you use? I am slowly dying here. I have muscles that ache that I didn't know existed. :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Stephanie - Is your mower self-propelled? Hopefully that would help you some. My mower is a Toro, I believe. Elin's yard is nice and flat, so she probably doesn't have a lot of muscling to do with her mower, but my yard is a hill. After I'm done, I can feel it in my muscles the next day. You need to find yourself a nice young lawnboy. ;)

Good morning. :)

I slept like a rock last night.

That makes one of us. I bet I woke up every 15 minutes all night :confused3 I don't feel at all rested this morning and I work both jobs today with Colby's teacher conference in between :sad2:

I guess if I want to get this day over with I need to get going. Have a great day DDA :hippie:

The pharmacist said DS can take plain Claritin and Mucinex with the Focalin so hopefully that will be enough for him to get through the tests.

Today was report card day. It was not as bad as I expected it to be. He didn't fail anything, which was a welcome surprise! He might make it out of 7th grade on his first try after all!

Yay for a decent report card! Hope ds is feeling better today.

:guilty::guilty::guilty:Cassidy is not drum major. She is automatically section leader for flutes though.

I've just spent the last hour with her pretty much cuddling up in my lap...she just doesn't feel good.

:hug::hug::hug:

Good morning all!

I have no idea why I am getting another sinus type of infection...I could barely breath last night since im all congested..ugh..its gonna be a fun day at work !

::yes:: Your trip will be here soon!
I should get packing too for DL but my cousin just got admitted to hospice. He was recently diagnosed with cancer only 2 months ago...crazy how things turn so quickly.
ETA: He's not a close cousin, but the people I'm traveling to DL with would go to the funeral so plans would be canceled...

Yes, and the young man will be the on field assistant. I can't imagine that she will get loud enough to be heard.

But she is talented, so while it's favortism, it really would have been no matter what as Cassidy is Julia's best friend and Mike is also a favorite and she does have the skills.

I'm sorry Cassidy didn't get the part. Hopefully she will have a terrific year as section leader. :)

they are good. doggie has calmed down a lot so thats good

Good to see you posting, Karen! :)

Ugh! I'm sorry, Tammi. I hope you hear something soon!
Airtran has flights for that same price here, but only through Nov. 11. We sure would like to go for a few days in December. :rolleyes1

:thumbsup2:yay: I hope he is feeling better.

He still feels yucky, and he sounds even worse than he feels. Hopefully he will make it through the day. I suspect a Dr. visit will be in his future. :sad2: I am NOT happy that DH turned down the inhaler a few weeks ago - that probably would have solved things nicely.

Oh, no! Good thoughts for your family, Chanon! :wizard:

Tammi is right... our yard is mainly flat but big (about a 1/2 acre) and all lawn! We have a 25+ year old John Deere riding lawn mower and my new push mower is a Poulan from Walmart that I would not suggest that you purchase. It is perfect for "cutting in" the hard to reach areas but not something I would want to use on high grass or a large area. I agree that you need to look at a self-propelled mower. It would cut down on the muscle needed.

I am sorry to hear this, Chanon. Not just because of the threat to your trip but because of the impact on your family.
