I'm continually watching DING fares hoping that some awesome flights will turn up and We will just have to take a trip. I've been very disappointed in the rates though. The cheapest out of Manchester has been $90 each way. $180 round trip is almost twice as much as we paid last year

I forgot to mention that when Cassidy took out the clips in her hair at after prom...the style stayed So if you need your hair to stay I suggest Aussie Instant Freeze spray.

When I got married we sprayed that on some of my bridesmaids' crinolines to keep them from hanging lower than the dresses. Worked like a charm!

Who the heck knows if we have been exposed to swine flu. As many people as there are here who run back and forth to Mexico all the time, I am sure there will be millions of cases in TX soon.

Princess brought home a thing from school about swine flu. It's quite vague.

I read an article about it. It said pigs are susceptible to bird flu, and swine flu can pass to humans. This strain is a mutant bird flu that has incubated in pigs and passed to humans. Great.

I am actually shocked that DS will be out in 40 minutes and that he hasn't called me to come get him. He says he doesn't feel that bad, he just can't breathe and has the horrible cough. The big problem is that he is limited on what sort of cold meds he can mix with his Focalin. He can't take the TAKS without his Focalin, but if he can't BREATHE I bet he won't do well on the test! I may need to call the pharmacy and see what they suggest.

The pharmacist said DS can take plain Claritin and Mucinex with the Focalin so hopefully that will be enough for him to get through the tests.

Today was report card day. It was not as bad as I expected it to be. He didn't fail anything, which was a welcome surprise! He might make it out of 7th grade on his first try after all!

Yes, and the young man will be the on field assistant. I can't imagine that she will get loud enough to be heard.

But she is talented, so while it's favortism, it really would have been no matter what as Cassidy is Julia's best friend and Mike is also a favorite and she does have the skills.
