Lucy had her pre-op appointment this morning. She still has fluid in her ears, although they are not infected. She had to have a hearing test and she missed all of the softest sounds. Her throat is inflamed so she in on yet another antibiotic.

Molly is at a friend's house for a playdate and I will pick her up in a bit and head off to her 5 year well check up. I also need to ask her about getting Em tested for lactose intolerance. We had her on the pills back in kindergarten for a long time and then we slowly backed her off of them and she seemed to do fine. Well the past month or so she has complained of chronic tummy aches and feeling like she has to throw up. I kept asking her if something has been bothering her and she insists things are all good. Yesterday evening she was fine and then she had milk for dinner and about an hour later the symptoms were back. So I'm beginning to think it's not all in her head!

I'll check in later. Have a great afternoon!

 for Molly & Lucy!

It looks like Hunter's friend will be able to go with us on Friday. He will be excited about that. I just need to firm up the details. I need to call Nick's friend's Mom too. I guess I should do this now since I'm only home for another 15 minutes :sad2:

ETA: Nick's friend can go too. The boys should be happy tonight :cool1: That means 2 adults and 5 kids at an amusement park  It should be fine since Chris and I are just big kids anyway:rolleyes1

I hope to have lots to read when I get home tonight. I'm starting to feel like this group is breaking up and I'm praying that is not the case. So post people, post away:hug:

I have been here, but like Elin I just have had nothing to post about. My life is boring :rolleyes1 I having been reading the Twilight series of books & I am getting ready to start on book 3. When I read I have a hard time pulling myself away & reading is something I have not done a lot of lately. With being able to read so many books online now, I think I will read as much as I can :goodvibes

Your night at six flags sounds like it is going to be fun. I so wish we had something closer to us to take the boys to. Our town has nothing & nothing is very close to us either :sad2:

I am doing laundry and finding more jobs to apply to. I swear I have the most interesting life.:rotfl2:I have an interview at Target on Thursday.

Cassidy and I had a confrontation yesterday. The band director hit them yesterday with the fact they will be on their own for 8 meals, not the 3 he originally stated. Well that puts me into a panic to find extra spending money because the $50 I am scrounging to find to send her with will more than likely not be enough. She came in and yelled that it wouldn't be enough as I am emptying my piggy bank (it literally is a piggy:goodvibes). I calmed down and went and told her that instead of the attitude I was getting it might make my job easier to give an attitude of gratitude. I am still waiting for that attitude....teens are a hoot, let me tell you.

Theresa good luck with the job interview :wizard: Even though money is tight for everyone now, we always seem to find that little extra we need for our children & I know you will too :goodvibes I do hope that Cassidy shows you a little more appreciation though

I am still here, but my life has been pretty boring lately too!

I don't think our little family will break up! We are just too close to end the friendships that we have made!

my life is the same thing day in and day out...and I know I get tired of living it so I am sure you all would tire of hearing about it.

Things in my life have been boring too--i guess i should just start posting random stuff ;)
I also dont think our group will break up---I am too close with you guys!

I'm here, I've read everything but have been bad about posting. Right now I'm dealing with something that really has me in a funk, and I'm not sure how to pull myself out of it.

Mom has found a surface lump in her left breast (the one that had cancer) so she has to have a Cat-scan on Fri.

DH came home early from work today, he said he was feeling awful and was dizzy. I sent him to the doctor, he has a sinus infection. He has left work early maybe three times in the last ten years, so I knew he was feeling pretty bad.

Sorry to hear this Debbie, hope you get out of your funk soon

Debbie, hope your funk ends soon and the DH feels better soon. :wizard: :wizard:

Heidi-your mom will be in my prayers

Debbie-I hope your funk leaves soon and Richie feels better quickly.

I was going to ask if anybody had watched Extreme Makeover on Sunday...I haven't been watching lately because it just seemed like the people were ingenuine and it felt like they felt they were entitled to the makeovers.

This family was amazing and so geniune and the house a)fit into the neighborhood and b)was a fairly normal size

Plus, I needed a good cry and this fit the bill.

:hug: I hope everything is ok Heidi

Heidi, good thoughts for your mom! :wizard:

Debbie, I hope you are able to work out of your funk soon! I'm glad Richie went to the Dr. - I hope he is feeling better!! :wizard:

My child is a bonehead. He must like 7th grade A LOT to want to stay there for another year. :sad2::headache: I am truly so furious at him I can't even deal with him. There is no way he will be able to pull his grades up in only 35 days. No way. I don't know much about summer school, but I am relatively certain it won't be very useful in this situation since there my be multiple failures. It fascinates me that he got into Honor Society last year and now he could potentially FAIL, oh, I don't know how many classes. Four, I suppose? Gotta love that.

I'm still plugging away here. Life is pretty busy as always. I have to leave early tomorrow as we have training and a meeting.

It keeps raining around here. I am ready for the sun. Although I guess it is better then the snow in Georgia and the tornadoes that have been happening.
