Which would be better Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach? My guys love the water but are not good swimmers. (they float & doggy paddle mostly, :rotfl:)
We did BB last year and plan on going to TL this year, only because we haven't been yet and we want to check out the shark reef area. I don't think you really need to be a strong swimmer anywhere other than the wave pool. If they can doggie paddle they should be able to make it to the exits after the slides.

Deb - I hope the meds do the trick.

Theresa - I hope the sickies leave your house soon too.

We all prefer Typhoon Lagoon, but I think that really depends on what you like. The wave pool is our all time favorite spot to be in, though it probably isn't great for beginning swimmers. Our favorite slides are the body slides and prefer those to ones that you need mats/tubes for. I like the lazy river better at Typhoon Lagoon, and I prefer the "tropical" setting. I find it more relaxing. We have all decided that we'd rather have two days at Typhoon Lagoon than one at each water park. The shark reef is interesting, too, if there isn't a long wait. The kids can get flotation vests, so they don't have to be strong swimmers.

We did go to Blizzard Beach last August, because Miles couldn't remember it. We went during Tropical Storm Faye, and the place was practically deserted. Miles had the most fun at the Pre-teen area, but Laura wasn't allowed to do anything there. The slides just weren't our style, I guess. We were happy, though, that we didn't have to wait for anything.

I wish I could call my Dad to sing Happy Birthday to him. He would have been 89 today.

Still waiting & yes I do believe it must not be anything to bad, but still :headache:

We're home and both boys are now on amoxicillin :cool1: She is treating both of them for sinusitis based on how long they've been sick. Hunter cannot go to school tomorrow as he is clearly sicker than Colby, we'll see how colby does between now and then. Hunter will stay at my parent's house tonight as Dad can take care of him tomorrow. I pray that this is the end of it for us.

I'm so glad that the boys are on medication, now! This has gone on long enough! Here's hoping it works quickly, and both boys start to feel better soon!

WARNING:
Rant about Diva to follow...

Today is Diva's birthday. So on her Facebook page one of her friends was assuring her that she is not old. EXCUSE ME? Since when is 17 old? Diva is the most immature, ungrateful child I have ever seen. She thinks she is entitled to anything and everything, she doesn't have a job, she doesn't make outstanding grades. For the most part she sits around and WHINES, and waits to have things handed to her.:mad: Because she, you know, EXISTS. That means she is entitled.
And now she is whining because she is OLD? What kind of ludicrous, asinine statement is THAT? She is a sophomore in high school. She hasn't DONE anything with her life yet. What an idiot.

Where is Stephanie? I need someone to help me slap Diva. :rolleyes1

Disney Wonder Getting New Home at Port of Los Angeles

Disney Cruise Line® has announced plans to reposition the Disney Wonder® Cruise Ship from its base in Port Canaveral, Fla., to the West Coast in 2011.

A two-year agreement, with a three-year extension option, will be considered by the Port of Los Angeles Board of Harbor Commissioners on April 2, 2009.

With the port’s proximity to the Disneyland® Resort, you’ll be able to offer Clients even more magical Disney vacation choices – both on land and sea!

The addition of a new homeport for Disney Cruise Line is part of the overall expansion plan for The Walt Disney Company. Two new ships, Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, will arrive in Port Canaveral, Fla., in 2011 and 2012, respectively.

“We are looking forward to returning to the Port of Los Angeles and offering our special brand of family cruises on the West Coast,” said Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Jay Rasulo. “Having a Disney Cruise Line ship based in this region is something families on the West Coast have wanted for a long time, and we’re pleased to bring the Disney Wonder to Southern California in 2011."

Disney Cruise Line successfully tested the West Coast market with two summer seasons of Mexican Riviera cruises in 2005 and 2008. Disney Cruise Line has not yet announced the details of its itineraries for 2011.

Known for establishing family travel in the cruise market, Disney Cruise Line continues to be a leader in the industry. The Disney Wonder was recently named the top large cruise ship experience by readers of Condé Nast Traveler magazine in the 9th annual “Reader’s Cruise Poll.”

The Disney Magic Cruise Ship, which was also ranked in the top five cruise experiences in the poll, will embark on a season of limited itineraries exploring Northern Europe and the Mediterranean in 2010.

The boards are going down for maintenance tonight at 10 pm.

Holy crap.

But I will go lurk, because I like scandal.

Debbie cute picture and she looks adorable in blue. Of course I am biased, as blue is my favorite color. :)
