DDA Chapter 19

I am finishing baking my from scratch chocolate chips cookies.

I didn't get any calls from school today Apparently everyone is feeling better. Colby came home for a minute then headed off swimming with SIL. I was planning on taking him later, while the other boys were at Lacrosse, but he wants to swim with Logan Whatever, I don't want to go back there today anyway.

hee hee...I think this is the first time I've promised pics and gotten them up on the same day.

Here is from last night trying them on (7 jackets and this was the only one that was camera worthy):

the boys were looking to rent white tuxes....Josh has been told not to...would look funny Cassidy in black tux jacket and him in white:

She tried on 10 dresses, 3 would have worked....this is the one she and her girlfriends picked.

Hi, everyone. Sounds like everyone had busy/good weekends. I promise I read back through everything, but can't promise to remember everything.

Friday I went to bowling, and was happy to find that my tendonitis seems to be much better. Instead of bowling as awfully as I have been I bowled over my average on all 3 games!!! I still wear a brace, but I'm much more optimistic about it!

Saturday was the twins birthday party. It turned out great! They had 10 friends over, and it was loud, and fun! I'll post pictures in a little while. The kids had so much fun being the chefs! The girls had a lot of fun being the hostesses, and of course opening all the presents. After their party, I crashed for a couple of hours (bless Alan's heart for taking care of Timothy so I could!), and then we went to Golden Corral for a birthday dinner for Alan and the twins. Not my favorite place to eat, but the kids love that they can get a bunch of their favorite stuff all at the same time. Mary ate 3 plates of chicken drumsticks, fried shrimp, and macaroni and cheese, Leslie ate 3 slices of pizza, corn on the cob, chicken and tons of kiwi fruit! Jacob loaded up on salmon and corn on the cob. He was a happy, happy boy! Leslie dared him to try the kiwi fruit, and he was really scared to try it. I guess he thought it looked too green! Anyway, he tried it, and loved it! Guess I'll be buying some kiwi in the future!

Yesterday we went to church and then spent the rest of the day with 2 of Alan's brothers and their families. It was a nice relaxing day! The best part was that Timothy slept from 10:30 to 3:00 without waking up! I fed him for 10 minutes at 3:00 and he slept again until 6:00. Another small feeding and he was asleep until 9:00. I think he might finally be figuring out the whole sleeping at night thing!

I get to take Timothy to the doctor for his 4 month checkup tomorrow. I've got to remember to give him Tylenol before we leave. He reacted so badly to the shots last time, I really don't want that again!

Thank you everyone, still no word from the Dr. I did call this morning & was told with him just getting back from vacation that they are swamped & we might not hear anything till tomorrow

Janet, that is just WRONG. I would call again and tell them you understand they are busy BUT you really need to know these results in case you need to schedule additional testing. Then I would let them know you will hold while they find the results.

Prayers for my MIL. She had a biopsy on Wednesday. We found out on Thursday that they found cancer. She is having a lumpectomy on Tuesday. Her spirits are good. She is getting stronger every day.

Not at all.

My mood has been really down the last couple of days. Seven years ago today my mother passed away & we are hoping to hear news of Garys test results today.

I know it may sound strange but I always think of those last few moments with her & it really pulls at my heart

I hope the Dr. office calls early, Gary & I both are waiting to breath a sigh of relief.

Hope you hear good news on Gary SOON!

I just got a call from HAPO Inc. The Oprah show wants Ellie to auditon for the Talented kids shows Oprah is doing.

We drive to LA Friday after School and audition on Sat.

Oh please think of her on Sat and send good vibes that they pick her.

If they pick her not only will I get to see the Oprah show love, but I can MEET KRISTINE!!!!!!!

I know I have asked a lot from you all in ref to Ellie, but if you have time to send out her lastest youtube (link below) then her numbers will go up and they (Oprah) will see people love her and that might help us get on the show.

I can't call Mark about it and will have to wait till he calls me, so I had to tell someone other than my mom.

Honey im home! It was a BUMPY flight as its crazy windy here, but im home and in the middle of unpacking..it was such a great trip and I am bummed to be home!
