I am so annoyed now....

we have been battling carpenter ants for awhile. So Bill & I decide to buy this product and treat the situation ourselves. So it's this dust that goes into a bellows (a small can you squeeze with a long nozzle) I watch the instructional video....and off we go.

what a disaster...the stupid thing didn't work....Bill and I get into a huge fight and I am covered head to toe in this poisonous dust. So now I freak out....I start coughing....and am convinced I am going to die. Bill on the other hand informed me that it was in my mind!!

So if you don't hear from me again....the ants won.

I do hope you are ok!

I had a delivery of beautiful red roses from Dana this afternoon.

So I went to take a picture of them, go to turn on the light & knocked my camera on the floor & busted the lens. Broke!

Well I find it extremely refreshing! : You use more critical thinking I would say than some doctors I worked with... which is just as important (if not moreso) than math and science! And CERTAINLY more than most of the parents I worked with!

I never had any problems grasping the biology/anatomy/physiology, just the math and chem. I also volunteered with AIDS clients for years before I flipped to the fundraising side. I used to go to the symposiums on AIDS drugs, plus in-services through the agency. I had every intention of going into social work/case management but then I was sidetracked into nannying.

I just got a call from her doctor and filled him in. We decided to try one more time to get some fluid in Avery (mostly for my own benefit, I'm sure ) and then he'll probably call and set up an infusion. Thankfully we do have the satellite nearby and can just run up there and be there for a few hours for a bolus, instead of having to be admitted to the hospital. He's optimistic, as are Kyle and I, that getting fluids in her will "perk her up" enough for her to heal and start eating on her own again, hopefully long enough to get over this bug.

I am sure the fluids will perk her up! Good luck!

Just an FYI on ADRs...

Someone posted that they requested an 8:05 AM breakfast at Tusker. It gave them 8:05 at Spoodles. The CM didn't realize it was an "alternate choice" in the system until the very end when the poster asked her to recap everything. She ended up with 10:45 AM at Tusker because all of the early slots were gone by the time they realized what had happened. This proves what the concierge told me about the system giving "alternate" locations if your first choice is full. Apparently the system tries to give you the TIME you request over the LOCATION, which is asinine. Because it also appears to have no regard for what PARK you are even in!

Apparently the system tries to give you the TIME you request over the LOCATION, which is asinine. Because it also appears to have no regard for what PARK you are even in!

Some people have said they had better luck stating the location and meal (B, L, or D) and letting the CM tell them what time comes up. If you request a specific time apparently the system decides where you will go based on the time you request, if the time you ask for is unavailable at the location you specify.

that is how I did my ADR's the last time...it worked well for us. I thought that's how it was supposed to be done
