Hello, DDA! Laura is still awfully congested, but the fever is gone, and she was well enough to swim today. I thought that they had an amazing swim. They looked terrific. Unfortunately, I wasn't a judge, and the scores didn't seem to reflect what I saw. What do I know?! Anyway, the mothers were all proud of how well they swam today, and the coach told them that they did a great job.

I haven't had a chance to read back yet, and it looks like you were a talkative bunch. I'm going to read back while Laura is in the shower getting all of the gelatin out of her hair, and then we're having girls' night.

We will not need to rent a car! Every place we are going is either within walking distance or in a park that we will be in that day. I will use WeGoShop for essentials in the room.

I forgot to tell you the wonderful thing that happened at the studio on Wednesday morning. A delivery man showed up with this:

It was from the family of one of my students but it was addressed to the entire staff. It included the nicest thank-you note for all the extra time and effort and care we give to all the students at our school. I was so touched!

John and I meet at the end of May and married 2 years later the beginning of May.

May is a busy month for us, too. My brother's birthday, Mother's Day, Miles' birthday, my birthday, and our anniversary. Dh is always happy when he makes it through the month.

What a brilliant idea! I am dead serious... I think it would benefit them as well as those of us who prefer to just have a nice meal.

For example: We love the food at CP. I have been told that you can tell your server or the hostess that you don't "need" to have the interaction, but we have never had that work very well. When we tried it at LTT Chip and Dale ended up force feeding the glazed carrots to Kathrin.

I have a theory...

Sometime in the future Chuck is going to meet up with Christopher Lloyd and come back to this time. And he will inadvertently change the events of the future just by being here and helping that woman. He tried to cover up his mistake by wearing that hat, but his clothes gave him away. Tell him I am on to his deceptive tricks.

If it is something REALLY important (like an ill or injured DDAer) use the SBC. If it is just something fun then use the Juno.

I imagine he had people flinging their doors open all up and down the block today! We are very proud of her. The school they chose (and that chose her!) is one we looked at for DS. It is FABULOUS.

OK, so what do you all do to that poor mailman when private high school slots are up for grabs???? I shudder to think what happens when college acceptance letters go out.
