I like the no or 2 color one. I love carousels...you did a great job!!

If you did the 1 color....I would make all of the writing one color and leave all of the design black and white.

Thanks, Theresa! (Why can't I ever remember if there is an 'h' in your name?!) I did go ahead and send them to our head coach (fearless leader, whatever). One of the other mothers suggested that maybe we could have a contest to let the girls design/draw a logo for this meet. I'm sure that they could come up with something better than me, but we need to get moving on it.

I have been sitting here, off and on, for the last 3 hours at one computer page trying to get the gumption up to put together a cover letter. Why, oh why, can't I find the gumption?

Today is the first day I haven't had a nasty tummy upon waking, but I am still feeling blah.

Theresa is the way that I would spell it if I had to guess. For some reason, though, I keep thinking that you could be a Teresa. I'm not sure if I actually know anyone who spells it Teresa, though, so I don't know why I keep second-guessing myself. I don't like spelling people's names wrong. Hopefully, I haven't done it to anyone else. The other name that always makes me think is Chanon. Sometimes I want to get two n's in there.

I am going to ask or prayers, pixie dust or whatever you want to give. Gary told me a couple of days ago that about 2 months ago he noticed a lump & he has blood in his urine. He says he did not tell me because he did not want me worrying during our trip

I was able to get him in to the Dr. today & he is scheduled for a cat scan tomorrow. The Dr. said it could be 3 things, infection, kidney stones, or a tumor. Of course we are hoping it is one of the 1st two.

I know in my heart it is nothing serious(or at least I keep telling myself that). Please send the good thoughts & prayers for good test results.

Now who feels selfish after pouting about the trip not going as hoped

I was able to get him in to the Dr. today & he is scheduled for a cat scan tomorrow. The Dr. said it could be 3 things, infection, kidney stones, or a tumor. Of course we are hoping it is one of the 1st two.

You've got them! (And you didn't whine -- you had a reason to be disappointed. Don't feel guilty.)

Laura's synchro club is hosting the regional meet in May, and I've been playing around with designs to use for t-shirts, program covers, etc. I've done 1-color, 2-color, and 3-color designs, because we don't know yet how much each will cost to do. This area is known for its 6 old carousels that are in parks and are free of charge. So, I went with a seahorse for the swimming and made it look like a carousel horse to highlight our area. On the 2-color and 1-color designs, the seahorse will be whatever the shirt color is. Any suggestions or changes? Start all over? Thanks for any input! I haven't shared these with the club yet.

Oh, Janet! I'll be praying for a good resolution for Gary. Please let us know when you get the results of the scan.

I think that's why I used my real name as my user name. It's just easier for people that way.

I went with the island flavor for supper, it just wasn't Ireland ....I found what is an awesome Carribean Jerk marinade and put it on pork chops.
