I need to ask for a little PD, we got a call at 5:00 am this morning, my DD had a temp of 103.2, so we went to watch the baby while my SIL took her to the ER. They suspect a bladder infection and have started her on an antibiotic, she is very unhappy that they want her to have minimal contact with the baby until her cultures come back.

I hope that the meds work quickly.

I am completely tramatized right now. Did you know possums have hands? Little fingers? Well, now I do. There was a possum that took up residence under my shed. He was lying in the yard the other day so I figured he was playing possum. When he was still in the same place when I got home, I knew he was really dead.

So my DD and I had to go out in the yard (yes, we are pioneer women for sure now) get a shovel, stick him in a bag and put him in the trash. Woo Hoo! Way to have some weekend fun.

I'm going back to catch up and try to calm myself down.

OMG, Stephanie! You strong woman, you! Possums freak me out. Sorry you had to deal with that!

My day has been great--i havent done a thing so far! I dont want to go through my clothes yet since I dont kno wwhat the weather in florida will be like....so ill have to do it again ev entually when it gets closer so no point in doing it now..

So im still in pjs and watching movies!

I'm still in my pj's, too. I didn't sleep well last night, so we didn't go to church this morning. Since then, we've just been hanging out, planning a Disney trip!

Lindsay have you thought about booking the 4/3 deal? Good luck with your plans!

I certainly would have liked to, but J doesn't want to take that much time off of work. He has it in his head that he wants to take off the last 2 weeks of Dec., so he's "preserving" vacation time. He seems to be forgetting that my parents are likely to come and spend Christmas with us (that's the deal when we have kids - we're not going to be the ones traveling for a while ), so he might be rethinking that when the time comes.

I booked an AP rate for a std. room at the BC. I had to book a dummy reservation for 7 days (only way I could get the std. room to come up), and I plan to call back and have them remove the excess days tomorrow (only staying 4 nights). I did have to book online, because when calling CRO, they were charging rack rate for the weekend . Online, the AP rate was for the entire time. I'm hoping when I call to modify the reservation, they won't change the rate on me. If they do, we'll switch to BWI.

We've decided to do the Mem. Day weekend (assuming the flights will work out - waiting for some transferred AmEx pts. into my SW rewards account). J brought up a good point that we'll probably just be doing a lot of meandering and resort time, since it's not like I would probably feel like going commando. Thus, we want a good resort with a good pool - that pretty much means BC or GF to us.

Bob and I just made some plans for August 7-9...

Looks like it'll just be Lindsay and me holding down the boards in August since everyone is doing something Disney related. PS - congrats on booking in May! I've been during that time and it's a good season to go.

I didn't see this one but I did see one for Clearwater St Pete's 2007 and 2008 Half Marathon.

Bob and I are planning on watching Changeling tonight. I've been cleaning out my bookshelves and cleaning out cookbooks - getting rid of old ones, writing new ones in the make your own cookbooks then I'm able to toss quite a few. I probably have over 50 Taste of Home's.

I have Thursday & Friday off next week, that is when I will probably start thinking about what to wear & pack.

We are going to go with carry on only which is fine. The resort has the h20 shampoo, conditioner, & lotion so I do not need to pack that. The only thing I will miss is my regular hairspray, I hate buying those travel size ones. They always make my hair feel very stiff I will probably wear my hat most of the time anyway

Where are you guys staying?? I forget!

Thank You. I only got 5 wrong, Not too bad as I could have gotten 13 wrong and still passed. I stopped by the Aquatic Center on the way home and they gave me my new guard suit. It is the one I posted. I start at 7 am tomorrow. I must say that this has been one whirlwind of a week for me and I am glad that it is over.

Eww. Possums are creepy!
There was a HUGE possums in the neighbor's front yard one day when I was taking princess to school. When I came back it was gone. I asked the neighbor about it, and she said her DH saw it when he left for work, and he called to tell her it was out there. Apparently it got up and walked off, because none of us scooped it up!
