OK, we are back from the Disney liquidation store!

They have a lot of stuff. Most of it is clothing, and most of it is from DL. Lots of kids clothing, adult T-shirts, adult hoodies (pullover and zip front), tote bags, backpacks, fanny packs. Hats (baseball caps and the big novelty hats), red Crocs w/ black strap (adult sizes), a few little "decorative" things, plush, plastic cups/mugs, autograph books, photo albums.

Most of the stuff has "Disneyland" on it, and a fair amount has the year 2006, 2007, 2008 etc.

We did get an AKL black pullover hoodie for DS (adult Small) and a Kali Rapids T-shirt (adult Small). They had SSR T-shirts but they were all adult Medium.

They had PINS! We had to ask for them because there were only about 10 on the rack. The manager brought out 4 big boxes of pins from the back, several different styles. I asked if he would cut us a deal, and he said if I bought 100 pins he would sell them for $2.50. I said "How about $2?" He said $2 is their cost, he would go $2.10, so that's what we did. He had to manually override the price, and the pins were ringing up about $5 - $6 each so we feel like we got a GREAT deal on them. So much for not trading in August. :rolleyes1

So there you have it! Oh, and the stuff is NOT all 80% off. It is UP TO 80% off. Some of it is definitely not marked down very well.

I'm jealous!!! I was wondering if you were going to get pins. Did you get them all?

"All" as in all that they had, or "all" as in some of each style?
The pins come bundled in groups of 10, and he had 4 BIG boxes of bundles, so we didn't come close to buying all that they had. :rotfl:
Some of the pins were REALLY heavy (there was a Dory one that flipped open that would have killed me to wear on a lanyard) so we tried to skip those. We ended up with probably 8 or 10 designs, and there were probably 3 or 4 designs we didn't buy because they were too heavy or had a "dangle" that makes them hard to travel with.

I am glad people posted about it, because I hadn't heard anything about the sale! I saw a friend of mine at the store and he said he heard it on the radio. :confused3 It's probably 30 miles from us so there is no way I would have stumbled across it on my own.

So I got my suitcases down from attic. I plan on stopping at Walmart the night I get there to get snack foods, bottled water, etc. I would like to stop at Target but they close at 10pm and my flight lands at 9:50pm.

I have not seen any Bullfrog sunblock around here yet. Does anyone have any recommendations for a spray sunblock that pretty much sprays on clear and does not run? Just in case I can not find it in Florida either. I could always buy the Neutrogena spray, as it was that but I did not like the smell of it.

Sounds like a fun time for the three of you! :thumbsup2

I need to ask for a little PD, we got a call at 5:00 am this morning, my DD had a temp of 103.2, so we went to watch the baby while my SIL took her to the ER. They suspect a bladder infection and have started her on an antibiotic, she is very unhappy that they want her to have minimal contact with the baby until her cultures come back.

We use Coppertone Sport spray. I also just bought some Banana Boat spray on clearance at Target last week, but I haven't sprayed it to know what it smells like. :confused3 We have a thing of the Bullfrog spray that I think I bought at Target. I got it because I had a coupon, but we never opened it.

Cool - sounds like it was a fruitful trip for you!

Did you happen to notice if they had infant/toddler clothing?

Becky - I use the Neutrogena, and like it a lot. I've also used a kind that I *think* is Banana Boat - it comes in a smaller bright orange spray bottle - that works pretty well, too, and smells like coconuts.

Oh no - lots of :wizard:   for your DD!!!

Cool. :thumbsup2 Have you read anything about crowd levels over the weekend?

we get the Banana Boat Kids spray...it's at Costco, goes on fairly clear and has no real scent.

I would be grumpy also.

I had an unknown reason for a fever when Cassidy was about a week old and then broke out in hives when they gave me penicillin. Your poor daughter I understand.

:offtopic: I am completely tramatized right now. Did you know possums have hands? Little fingers? Well, now I do. There was a possum that took up residence under my shed. He was lying in the yard the other day so I figured he was playing possum. When he was still in the same place when I got home, I knew he was really dead.

So my DD and I had to go out in the yard (yes, we are pioneer women for sure now) get a shovel, stick him in a bag and put him in the trash. Woo Hoo! Way to have some weekend fun.:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I'm going back to catch up and try to calm myself down.
