Bernadette,
Wow she sounds very insensitive & rude. I think I would have let it go once, but not if she brought it up again. I hope you can resolve this so it is not bothering you anymore whatever that course may be (ignoring or confronting her). We get that too. "How can YOU afford to go to Disney so much?" I get it at work when I talk to guests. Once they hear I have been several times they get wierd & look at me like "You?" I guess working as a CM in TDS just make people think I am lowlife or something. Dana just had a coworker (who used to be his superior who now is on his level) make a comment that she couldn't understand how he can go so much. "Priorities" he tells her.

Hang in there Bernadette, she doesn't know your life & she was obviously brought up incorrectly.

Jennifer - Sorry to hear about your back. I'm glad it's nothing more serious though. I hope it is feeling better soon. If you figure out how to make that happen, please pass it along. My back keeps acting up and I'm not sure what's causing it let alone how to fix it.

Good morning, DDA!!!

Hate to post and run, but I've got to feed the baby and make Dad's lunch before we take Phil to work. After that, we'll grab some Chick Fil A breakfast and then go back to the bookstore. I've got Border's Reward dollars burning a hole in my pocket! No idea what I want to get, but I'm sure i'll find something good.

This afternoon we're off to look at houses again. 10 on the list for today so maybe we'll come up with something good this time. A couple I'm kind of excited to see so fingers are crossed that something lives up to the hype.

Great pictures & video. I would like to know what happened at Pop is you wouldn't mind PM'ing me. I may be in the minorty but I just didn't dig Pop. I liked AS movies & music better. By the way the worst housekeeping we ever had was at the Poly so it can happen at any resort.
I would love to see more pictures..Leighanna looks thrilled in the ones you posted.

Good Morning. I have a break between classes so I thought I'd pop in and try to catch up. I'm the French and Spanish Teacher for the 7th and 8th grades today. French I'm okay with, Spanish I don't have a clue I only have to have them do worksheets so we should be okay.

Our family plans to swim tonight. With any luck my Mom will tag along and watch Colby at the pool while Chris, NIck and I work out. I would like Chris to walk me through weight training again since it has been years since I've done it. He'll make a cute spotter too

Sigh. After reviewing what our total OOP cost will be for the August trip I do not think I am going to order more pins.
We pulled out all of the bags of pins last night to try to determine what we actually have. What a flippin' MESS!
I labeled all of the bags before the last trip, so each of us had a bag of "traders" and a bag of "keepers". But apparently things got mixed together at some point. DS has no more room in his pin book for his keepers, DH never bothered to put his pins IN his book so he has keepers and traders all jumbled together, it will be a monumental task to get them all separated. At least DS's keepers are on sheets of bubble wrap. DH's pins are all loose, and he can't seem to remember which ones he wants to keep, which ones are duplicates, etc.

Thanks for all the comments on the cupcakes!! I have to tell you all a funny story. Last night, Emma and I were getting everything from my van into school for scouts. I had the 2 trays of cupcakes in the heart crocks. Emma had our supply tote and the 6 cupcakes for the parents. Well the plastic wrap blew off on of my trays and landed on my foot. So I was kicking the wrap up to the door as I walked. Well, Emma found it hilarious and the cupcakes fell to ground. I was not happy, but, it is what it is. The cupcakes did manage to fall directly on top of the plastic wrap that was covering them so they never actually touched the ground. I scooped them up and brought them inside and set them on the counter. Well, one of our dads saw them and asked if I made them special~ Yep, just for him! Anyway, he asked what happened and I told him. He said there was no way he was letting them go to waste and ate 3 of them(scraping the icing off the plastic clean), plus the leftovers of his daughter's.

And trust me, I am sure what ever you found won't be any worse then what I found when I used to work as a housekeeper. And I think I have a pretty good idea what it might have been that you found.

another twin moment!!

When I worked as a housekeeper in Florida I went into a room and lasted about 5 minutes before having to go home sick. 2 others went home sick after being in there and the maintenance men couldn't even handle it.

Then as a patron in Manhattan (MT) We found lovely hair in both beds we were using I was disgusted.

Tom-I am sorry you had such an experience at Pop, as everyone has had problems with all hotels. Poor housekeeping can be found anywhere. Management can be so out of it!
